dfu | 10-7-03 | dfu

Posted on 10/07/2003 7:31:52 PM PDT by doug from upland

Just for posterity and as a way to keep score, please put on this thread stupid comments made by the RATS about RECALL. Jesse Jackson has made them. Global Crossing Terry has made them. Other RATS have made them.

Thanks for your contributions. This could be a fun thread. Please try to link a source.

Chris Matthews and Lawrence O'Donnell have been dreadful. They can't stand the will of the voters when th candidate with the R candidate wins. Not since election night of 2002 have I seen such mean-spirited, elitist, Leftist ranting. They are dreadful and petty-- the degree to which they hate the average workaday American is astounding.

From AP:

After casting his own vote in West Hollywood, Davis said: "I feel absolutely terrific. I have always trusted the voters of California and I know they're going to do the right thing today."

"Gray Davis was running against a high name ID candidate."

Soooo...Gray Davis has been Governor for 5 years, Lt. Gov. for 4 years...and nobody knew who he was?

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

FYI - Chris Matthews told someone a couple of weeks ago that he voted for Bush in 2000! (I can't recall who he said it to though.)

*Shock*

Art Torres up now to dribble from his sphincter.

He's setting the table for legal action - problems with voter instructions, etc. Whoa - Art just said "no court action."
Art again denied legal action, but WAAAAAAH, people can't find their polling places!
Art says they'll work with new governor, IF he's the governor.

Great contribution. But in L.A., I'm surprised it is only 300,000.

I think Jim should suspend the "no DU posting" rule for tonight and allow us to post some of the wacky threads from DU to save them since they disappear into a blackhole over there. Search functions are only available to contributing members, thus we would have an almost impossible task of finding these threads in the future.

that was classic. It's Florida all over again, with the Dems in charge yet unable to run a fair election in which their party loyalists can vote.

I think people might start seeing a pattern if the same ole' shit starts happening again

Art Torres just said on Fox that 300,000 people in Los Angeles are wandering around unable to find their polling places.

Finally an 'splanation for the permanent traffic jam on LA freeways - those people have been driving around looking for their polling places since the last election!

At some point people have to take responsibility for figuring things out for themselves. I don't believe Art Torres, but even if I did, I'd say that those people had the responsibility to find out where their polling places are before the last minute on election day!
