"McClintock Cautiously Optimistic About Chances (McC Mapping Out First Day in Office)" I believe that there are great future opportunities for McClintock if he can resist the temptation to make himself appear ridiculous in the waning hours of this campaign. There is nothing to be gained here by eleventh hour pronouncements. He should avoid the temptation to appear wounded and persecuted as it will gain nothing for him. He must appear supportive of the winner in order to preserve his viability for a future candidacy, that future candidacy perhaps being at the national level.
