Where are your convictions, man? You skirted the issues! Aren't you, or weren't you, a diehard Tombot? Vote for the "true conservative" and all that? what the heck happened on the way to stardom?

Some of us wanted McClintock, some of us wanted Schwarzenegger. I voted for Tom, but we all wanted Davis gone and for Bustamante to keep his old job.

That's what's happening today. Why would I want to go call Hugh and spoil what should be a springboard to goodwill between the factions?

It's taking both Schwarzenegger and McClintock voters to Dump Davis, so I'm just enjoying the moment.

Perhaps. But it's voting for Arnold that'll prevent bustamante from taking davis' place.

I introduced myself to Hugh as a FReeper at the Arold rally in Costa Mesa. He said he couldn't believe how nasty the Tom vs. Arnold threads were.

Hugh is the best friend Free Republic has on the airwaves.

Obviously the class you displayed on the air represents the best conservatives have to offer. It's to your credit that you rose above the mudslinging tactics of Gary Davis, and even of some on this thread.

I understand your passion, but McClintock will not be rewarded in the future ever for dividing the Republican vote this election.

If on one level he didn't spoil the election, for sure on another he stopped a needed over-whelming mandate for Arnold that could have helped him with govern CA easier.

Well said ... this is a great day for California on the climb back from the abyss of leftist monopoly power.

Nice job, Sabertooth. Well reasoned positions. And you voted your convictions. Proud of you.
