I got a weird phone call last night. From the Committee of Concerned Women Voters (who are they?). A woman speaking saying that Arnold was a groper and can't be trusted by women ... says that she really wants to vote for McClintock. But, that since he can't win, vote "No" on the recall so that a "real" Republican can win next election. Very bizarre ... any ideas?

The networks are doing a trial run for 2004 tonight with the new exit poll system. And the LA Times has their own numbers..
Drudge may break them at about 7PM eastern

"Did you happen to see Lou Dobbs questioning Judy Woodruff last night about why the LA Times did not put together a Davis investigative team? He really put the screws to her and she winced and dodged without really answering the question. I had no idea Lou Dobbs was that aggressive." Dobbs is CNN's Token Republican. They (barely) tolerate him because his show brings in good ad dollahs.
I've found Judy Woodruffruff's pace to be a very reliable index as to what's really happening. The more ghastly she looks, the better the news for our side. When the ghastly turns to ghostly, we've just won something.
How in tarnation can Al Hunt look at that in the morning?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/996441/posts NEW Phone Call Canvas Recording "SO A REAL REPUBLICAN CAN WIN IN 2006!"
League of Women Voters | 10/6/2003 | League of Women Voters Phone Call
The concluding identification on the recorded message stated it was sponsored and paid for by THE COUNCIL OF CONCERNED WOMEN VOTERS (whoever they are!). Deceptively close to the LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS. I suspect a Bob Mullholland dirty trick.

Gee, I didn't mean any offense to you, and it appears you really didn't take any.
It also reminds me of the leak reports; unamed sources, quoting unnamed sources, referring to unamed reporters, who received calls from yet more unamed government officials.
Have a good one,

I've noticed the spike in callers to the radio talk shows of "conservatives" in a huff because of the host's support of Arnold. It's obvious to me that most of these callers are plants. Some host spot them but Sean hasn't gotten it yet.

Al Gore has won FLOOOORIDAA !!!!! --- Judy Woodruff, barely suppressing on-air orgasm declaring Gore the winner in Florida a half-hour before the polls closed. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

Edison Media Research/Mitofsky International has been hired by about a dozen news agencies to conduct exit polls, and the LA Times is conducting one also.

We won't see anything until 8:00. The Registrar of Voters here in San Diego said on TV tonight that the first thing that will be reported are the absentee votes and then the rest will trickle in.

Yeah, did you hear yesterday's Hannity show where the caller said that Arnold has a history in his hometown in Austria of molesting women. Lucky Sean eventually shut him down ... but I suspect the guy was on a mission.
