The Recall is not a sure thing. Yes? No?

Tip for watching early precinct returns:
The 1st ones reported are always absentee ballots from Sacramento county. The magic # here is:
10%
Recent previous elections prove that these are about 10% to the right of the the rest of the state.
Any lead > 10% is usually the margin of victory.

Wouldn't it be cool for lots of folks from across the country to fill out their form and leave them chasing dead leads?

I don't want to make everybody ill at breakfast time, but the legal challenge is gathering steam! http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2003/09/25/question_form.txt
This form looks like it could use a hearty dose of Freeping. Did I encounter voting problems today? Hell yes I am...I can only vote Yes on Recall 1 time....even though I pay enough taxes so that 10 illegal immigrants can mooch off the system, have healthcare, get a new driver licese and now go to community college free.

Hi,
I'd like to submit: "Hi, I was too stupid to figure out how to vote. Please put me down for FDR"
But I'm at work so I don't want the "paper" trail.

We have been wondering if Davis will corrupt the tallies.
And how many minorities has he bussed to the polls.
How many lunches, how many packs of cigarettes will he dispense to said minorities?

I don't want to make everybody ill at breakfast time, but the legal challenge is gathering steam! If anyone has problems voting, that is something the media should absolutely be investigating. There is nothing inherently sinister in what the Chronicle is doing.

I decided to answer their little questionaire with the following:
"You people are performing a great service to the public - pointing out that the Democrats of California are as incapable of figuring out how to vote as those in Florida."

I cannot understand this. If they don't like the recall process they should have sought to change the law long before now.
We Zonies have recall down to a science. There's been two govenor's recalled in the past 10 years here in Arizona.

I guess they will appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.

California is controlled by Democrats right now. They can complain about how everything is unfair and all that, but they can't reverse the clear results an election that they oversaw on the basis that it wasn't fair. The more they try, the less electable they become in the future.
