Official Orange County Poll Report

We just got back from voting to oust Gay Davis.  Here is what I discovered:

• Voter turnout appears high.  It was difficult to find a place to park.
• We waited a total of 15 minutes to vote
• There were a LOT more voting booths than in previous years.  I would guess there were around a dozen when usually we have no more than six.
• We had to use a ball point pen (no chad here) to fill out the boxes
• The ballot was large (approximately ledger size) and is handed to you in an oversized folder

Nothing else out of the ordinary appeared to happen.  Things went smoothly just like all other elections.

Now we are on our way to Disneyland to celebrate the Liberation of California!
