Maybe accusing Ah-Nold of groping women wasn't the smartest strategy in a state like California. I mean, it's not like there isn't a lot of groping and free sex and deviancy in the state. Not to mention the Feminists defense of Clinton followed by their outrage over Ah-nold playing Grabass. It just didn't wash with the California electorate. If anything, I'll bet it ended up helping Ah-Nold.

They think we're morons. They smear someone, and we're supposed to have some violent emotional reaction and fall in line.

The Dems effectively destroyed that tactic when they turned a blind eye to Sick Willie's various assaults and rapes.

Joe Voter may be disengaged from day-to-day politics, but he isn't stupid enough not to see that level of hypocrisy.

From the National Review corner

One of my neighbors was in tears last Thursday, revolted by the L.A. Times stories that day and saying that the newspaper and Democratic party's behavior has probably driven her to the Republican side for good."
