I had to run an errand and went to get a look at our (Orange County) polling place myself, since my husband had found such a line. It had gotten even longer than what he described!

When the poll workers this a.m. thanked me for voting, I said "It's a great pleasure!" They kind of chuckled. :)

I made sure I thanked the poll workers for their hard work today... they worked from 6:30am... and from the looks of the line I was in, they'll be there until 9:00... and they got $50 renumeration for their hard work.
