Wasn't it 59% - 41% just a wee bit ago? I hope the gap widens again.

Thanks for providing the html table - the images (maps) aren't loading here at all.

Sorta - he put me off my good mood.

It will be interesting to watch the Dems move to the Left, Repubs take the middle - although that might piss off many on the Right...
Gonna be interesting, no matter how it plays out...

If I am right about the numbers, perhaps this is how the sex/groping "scandals" played. Many folks decided to vote against the recall, and then opt out for a replacement - that combined with Cruz phobia.

He's making a highly divisive, inflamatory speech. The Indian gaming people have to start paying some taxes to the State.Yes he is. He's talking about their sovereignty...which is frightening given his background and associations.

MSMBC says CA approval of Bush is roughly half in half. For a Dem controlled state, thats good.

California Democrat Party state spokesman Bob Mulholland said his party is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger just 100 days before a new recall effort may be launched.
Mulholland made his threat on Fox News Tuesday night after polls closed and major press outlets declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the winner.
On Tuesday, Gray Davis declined to refute reports that he may back a new recall effort against Schwarzenegger.
Already press reports indicate that Democrats have $3 million prepared for a new recall effort.
Also, Hollywood billionaire Stephen Bing has promised to finance any Democratic-backed recall effort.

Yeah, that's how I read it. They're planning something, and I say BRING IT ON - the people of California will turn on them even more.
The recall of Gray Davis is historic. Not quite as big an event as the impeachment of Bill Clinton, but still a significant event.
It's a given that the dishonest historians are beginning the task of rewriting history, of removing reference to these events from papers and daily discourse. They might convince some folks, but me, and my children, and their children .... we won't be fooled.
MSNBC had exit data showing the CA voters were 48% approve, 49% disapprove of Bush's job performance. That is GOOD news for Bush, which means if in another year(its only been 5 months) Iraq is settled down and improving, and the economy is improving, then CA is in play.

The big surprise is that ARnold will smash Cruz with a much bigger margin than Davis goes down, which in the end might be reasonably tight, IF most of the numbers are absentee ballots, about which I don't have a clue.

The ACLU convinced 3 federal appeals court judges that the recall should be stopped because of 40,000 votes? It was laughable then, and doubly so now. Many more votes will not be counted, because they will not change the outcome of the election.
To: Lordismystrength
woo hoo, my liberal brother lives in Placer county (Meadow Vista) and it looks like it went 73% YES on recall.
