"Her argument was that this wasn't actually a rejection of Democrats and a victory for Republicans, it was actually a vote for *reform*, and Howard Dean represents "reform", so Bush is in deep kimchi. I am not making this up."
I didn't see her...but, I believe you. What a sad spectacle Zsa Zsa's become.

These are mostly absentee votes. It is odd that the Arnold and McClintock sum is so much higher than the recall vote. Very odd.

It's definitely one of the Talking Points -- Arianna Huffington just tried it on CNN. Her argument was that this wasn't actually a rejection of Democrats and a victory for Republicans, it was actually a vote for *reform*, and Howard Dean represents "reform", so Bush is in deep kimchi. I am not making this up. What does it TAKE?! "No Arianna...this is a nice rug...this is your dogs---....we do not like it on the nice rug...now take a biiiiiig whiff of your handiwork..."

I'm liking this!

Okay, if the Dem's had half a brain and instead of falling on their swords for Davis ran a big name, like Feinstein or even Bubba, would Arnold have won? Opinions, please.

Oh do tell! [about DU's meltdown]It's too annoying to navigate their crappy thread system, and the carnage is too widespread, so I'm just peeking at threads willy-nilly. Suffice it to say if you go over and look at the "latest" page, it's wall-to-wall anger and hopelessness.
You're right though Tuxedo, the place is hard to stomach in more than tiny amounts, even when they're slitting their collective wrists. I think I've seen enough for one night.

Oh won't it be WONDERFUL to NEVER EVER hear that grating voice again?Whenever you see someone post nonsense such as who cares about CA, they get what they deserve; you remind them that on October 7, 2003, we saved the country from that man running for office.

Poor guys, I feel bad for them They'd kick you in the teeth if you were down.

(A vote for McClintock is a vote for Kyle Reese...and a vote against Cruz.)

Just heard on KFI that so far my home County of Orange is voting over 70% for the recall!
To: hoosiermama
Yeah, they're kinda on a plateau right now... they must be waiting for more returns. Even though the race has been called, I'm still nervous and excited. I'll calm down tomorrow probably about three in the afternoon.

I predict that this will pull the Dems even farther to the left. Starting tomorrow, the Leninistas will scream for rivers of blood. They'll drown out anyone even remotely moderate.
Goody :)
