..The term RINO does get bandied about doesn't it? Indeed. In an article posted a few days ago, Michael Moore co-opted the word to describe the exact OPPOSITE of what it commonly means to conservatives. His definition implies that the far-right ideologues are unfaithful to the old-fashioned ideals of the Republican Party, thus making them RINOs.
So the meaning RINO depends on what that little old 'R' stands for. And that's the crux of the issue, isn't it?

I'd rather have a bandaid than the gaping wound that we have been suffering under Davis & Co.

I figured out last night my polling place got moved across the street from my favorite doughnut shop, so I'll be early. On the other hand, it may be a clever move by your local election officials. The strong law enforcement presence will be a guarantee against voter fraud, pushing or shoving or general unruliness.
Its 7 oclock, folks, lets get this thing over with.

I agree with you: great coffee, overpriced. We cancelled ours, but The Missus now gets it thru eBay at a greatly reduced price.
Perhaps a help to you?

I think that Drudge has been especially hostile to AHNOLD in the past few weeks. Who knows why. He's also taken a scurilous tack on the Rush allegations. I always regarded Drudge as essentially a gossip with good sources, I think he has crossed the line into partisanism in this election. We need to be very mindful of this in the next election cycle. Drudge is a Democrat. A funny one, but in the end a Democrat.

I was thinking the same thing... need information to make it look real: voting locations using the punchcard systems; area code and prefixes for that area. This could be fun.
To: CatoRenasci
He's not a Democrat. He is extremely pro-life. That is why he doesn't like Schwarzenegger. There is no way Drudge is a Democrat, simply because of their position on abortion.

Good morning, Californians. This is your Independence Day.
Best of luck at the polls! (Keep an eye on that guy behind the green curtain.)

Can we get a suspension on the use of RINO, since it means so many different things to different people?
Probably not, but it would be nice.

Without democrats voting for them, Republicans can't win in this state. I welcome Democrats to vote for our party!!! Well if the only goal is to get an (R) into office, I guess that would be a good thing. Kind of baffles me though, I suppose if these were converted liberals who are now conservative minded and then vote for Arnold; I'd welcome that too. But I doubt that is the case, I'd say its more like liberal-lites voting for a liberal-lite candidate in a party that is vastly becoming liberal-lite.

Drudge put out bad exit poll numbers about (pro life) Jeb Bush at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on election day last November.
I won't trust his numbers again.

He also was a feed for anti-Bush rumors during the 2000 election, when we had a pro-life candidate running against an avowed supporter of abortion, Gore.
To: redlipstick
Well, someone emailed them to him, I'm sure, and he reported them. That's the thing about Drudge. It's unfiltered stuff, so there are good points and bad points about it.
All I'm saying is that he is not some kind of partisan Democrat, just because he published negative information about a candidate you like. Drudge is...well...Drudge. Sometimes you love him; sometimes you hate him. But, I'm still glad he came along, or we would not have impeached Clinton.
