President George W. Bush welcomed Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki at an official state welcoming ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington today. He hosted a state dinner for Kibaki later in the day, the first such dinner for an African head of State since President Bush took power.

Hi again from the United Kingdom!
Just wanted to thank you all for such a great and friendly response to my questions.....
The photos you've all dug out for my viewing are tremendous, and the extra snippits of info including that about HW's service in the Navy are most interesting.
With just a small gesture you've proven again what a great bunch you all are in the USA. Thanks for being our friends :o)
I won't advertise directly my company details here ( I expect thats a no-no ), but hopefully I can get away with saying that if any of you are interested in seeing my artwork when it's complete ( plus any of my other work I've done previously for members of your armed forces ) let me know - perhaps I could pass on my contact details in a private post to those interested?
My apologies if I've broken any rules for this forum with the above!!!
Thanks again for the help!

Oh no problem!
At some point, we of the screen lickers' guild would love to see some of your artwork.
And, thanks for helping with morale for the guys abroad. They need it, and we appreciate everyone's efforts.
And, don't be a stranger. The more the merrier!

Yes, he does and I believe that's what keeps him above all the bashing from the libs. He has a divine purpose for our nation right now. He's God's man for this hour and I think he is aware of that.

You've definitely broken no rules here, Artist. Thanks for doing what you're doing to honor our President, and his President father!
I just read your homepage, and wondered if you have all the photos you'd like to use as references of the aircraft carrier landing??
There are many of us who have saved them, and can post them again for you if you'd like! ;o)
btw, our daughter studied in England for 4 months (Oxford), and loved it so much that she's applying to 3 British Universities for her PhD, and will live there for at least 3 years if she gets accepted! Wonderful country!

He's God's man for this hour and I think he is aware of that.He is aware of that, and is humbled by it. One of the many ways that one can see that his faith is real is the way he has responded to questions about it. There is no false pride 'look at me' attitude in him. Just seriousness, and humility that he has been given an awesome task, and that he will use all his abilities and discipline to fulfill it.........A Charge to Keep.

Exactly. I think that's why he can rise above all the dirt the libs are throwing his way. He knows the truth and the truth has set him free.

Thanks for the offer of photos to use for the carrier landing artwork - as it happens, this piece has already been completed! The crew from the carrier and the Navy squadron that provided "Navy #1" for the President to fly provided all the photos I needed to paint the aircraft - but thanks for the kind offer :o)
Good luck to your daughter in her future studies - I hope she achieves everything she desires. Glad she liked being over here!
