The gold/aqua was worst, but this one's not bad, because the bow is the same color and small.

Actually, I'm a jeans and T-shirt kind of person, so I don't care that much about fashion in general.........and as far as I'm concerned the First Lady has exquisite taste otherwise, so let her wear bows if she likes them! :o)

Did you hear that he thinks he's going to be able to run for re-election for the Senate .. but his over the top comments have done a lot of damage in FL. And .. there is a lot of doubt if he can be re-elected.

I did hear that, and I hope it's true.

I understand political dissent, but the kind of hate-filled attacks coming from the demodwarves needs to have consequences......and I hope that means un-electability in the future.

Feeling as if the dark side is really pounding on the gates of all we hold dear, lately. With a desparation I don't ever remember in my lifetime. Wonder if anyone else is sensing the same?

Feeling exactly the same way, Republic.

This is intense spiritual warfare going on, and the desperation from the dark side is because they are LOSING.

Keep praying, everyone. This is NOT just political......it's eternal.

President George Herbert Walker's eyes are blue, as are George W.'s and they both had brown hair. An auburn type brown hair, not dark brown.

Yes, this is her second state dinner with Gene Washington. He was her boyfriend in the past and seems they've become reaquainted. Antonia Felix said he was one of her boyfriends in her biography on Condi.

Mr. Gene Washington is the current National Football League director of operations. Mr. Washington, an 11-year NFL veteran, played nine seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and two with the Detroit Lions. A Stanford University graduate, he lettered three years for the Cardinals. Prior to joining the NFL, Washington served as assistant athletic director at his alma mater from 1992-93. After retiring from the NFL, Mr. Washington spent 13 years working as a sports reporter for KPIX-TV in San Francisco and KABC-TV in Los Angeles. He was also a football commentator for NBC Sports in New York.

Mr. Washington has spent the last six years working with AFCA Executive Director Grant Teaff in improving the relationship between the NFL and college football. With the assistance of member coaches, he has established a set of guidelines for all NFL personnel visiting college campuses for the purpose of scouting college football players.

You're absolutely right, OWF. We're fighting against powers and principalities, not people. It looks like we're fighting the libs but in all actuality, it's the powers and principalities that are within them that we're actually battling. Whew. Tough going sometimes, huh? But God's the winner and we're on the winning side.

But God's the winner and we're on the winning side.

Exactly. It's not easy, but we know 'the rest of the story'.......and so does our President.

Do you change all this with a PhotoShop or similar software?

I played around with CoralDraw circa 1996 or so and could never get the hang of it. The "photo converted to a drawing part" of the image below is the only "coloring" I ever did in PhotoShop:

Now, everything I "color" is done in Paint Shop Pro. I'm currently using 7.05, but ver. 8 is out now.

From: Best of the Web:

Who's Missing?
The U.S. State Department Web site features a page linking to "famous speeches" of American history, including Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death," Washington's Farewell Address and Lincoln's Gettysburg address. But the choice of more-recent orators is, shall we say, somewhat limited. It includes two links to Martin Luther King speeches, including the "I have a dream" speech, which is one of the great orations of the 20th century. The list also includes FDR, JFK, LBJ, Carter and Clinton--five of the seven Democrats who served in the White House during the 20th century--and even a speech by Hillary Clinton.

But there's nothing from Eisenhower, Reagan, either Bush--or, for that matter, from any Republican other than Lincoln.

--

Anybody know who all we should write to complain about this travesty!?

My suggestion.......post this info as its own thread and get some ideas.

It's unbelievable that the anti-Republican bias in that link is so blatant.

(They have a speech by hillary, and not Reagan???)

I've never posted my own thread and not sure I'm up to learning how right now. (I'll go to the fund raising thread and post a suggestion that somebody do such a thread.) LOL

By the way, the Plain Dealer doesn't seem to have the articles archived. If you FReepmail me your e-mail addy, I can send you one or two. They're food articles, btw. Unfortunately, the online versions don't show the photos, but you'll see the words. ;)

OK.....all you have to do is go to the bottom of the thread and click on 'Post Article'........then follow the instructions. Fill in all the boxes with the correct info, and use your best judgement as to what categories it applies to.

If you have any specific questions, just ask......

I think it's a good question, and deserves some wider recognition.

btw, the 'Body of Article' is where you'd put all the info you put in the post, and your call to action if you'd like.

The 'Body of Comment' can be a ping, or a continuation of your "let's make some noise about this" quest.

I thought about putting the Clinton quotes in my e-mail, but decided that "might be" counterproductive. LOL
