I'm reserving judgement regarding the pills.
Regarding McNabb, I read other similar opinions that didn't get called racist. Regardless, he is intelligent enough to have worded his comments differently. For that, I fault him. In explaining that he thought it over and said it anyway, leads me to believe he said 'to heck with them, I say what I want'. He had to have known what the results would be. He prides himself on saying what he wants and let the chips fall. They fell alright lol

The press ethic that he applied to McNabb (wrongly in my opinion), was certainly operative in the Sorenstam story several months ago. It's been years since my work schedule allowed me to listen to his show at all, so I didn't hear what he had to say about that golf event, but a politically correct press pack mentality, favoring a liberal point of view, probably was the windmill at which he was tilting-- unfortuneatly, the windmill unhorsed him. I suspect he would have relished a counter argument by his ESPN colleagues, which would have allowed him to flesh out his thesis, and soften the racial flavor of his comments.

No doubt..... That's the gig.. I've seen a ton of people say McNabb is overrated.. not a single one(dating back to 2000) say he was overrated because he is black. Rush went to far pushing his agenda... if he had proof fine.. but he didn't.. he made an opinion with no basis for fact. When you play with fire you can't expect anything less than getting burned.
