They loved Bill too.
If rational thinking prevailed people would understand what this means.

Well being that they are the most liberal sector of the electorate, I guess it's appropriate.
Still one must ask the obvious....why?

(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)

Democrat women know a liberal when they see one.
Why can't so many conservatives?

Why can't so many conservatives? If I lived in Calif., I'd hold my nose and go with Arnold. The only way things won't get better for conservatives is if Davis stays in or Bustamonte wins
McClintock is the better candidate. Schwarznegger has a better chance of winning. You guys have a tough choice. What would swing it for me is the attacks made on Schwarznegger.

The template is being set as we talk. Not just on FR, but throughout conservatism in America vis a vis the Republican Party and expediency.
I can see social liberal/economic conservatives going over to Arnold on FR, but to see social conservatives go over there to be co-opted, some who VIGOROUSLY criticized both the criminal and non-criminal/immoral patterns of Clintonian behavior, it is nothing short of amazing and disappointing and contradictory.
Who know. Maybe they will come back tonight. Maybe they will come home to conservatism and principle and character. Maybe not.
They can still pull the lever for a squeaky clean conservative pro life, pro family, pro-faith family man in political double digits, the Senator, when they go into the examine their ballot and in so doing, examine their conscience.

Just compare Arnold to Davis or Bustemante and you can see why. Besides, normal Democratic women, as well as men, should readily see what a disaters Davis/Bustemante would be for their state.

No kidding. Im glad im not in California. I woul dhate to be presented with the choice between my conscience and Arnold.
My gut says McClintock and suck it up if he doesnt win. Arnold is not going to save any unborn children and thats important to me. Not that im a one issue wonder, im not. But all other issues are left leaning as well. Just pick one and name it as why you cant give up on principle.

I can't wait for Gov. Arnold to run against Hitlery in 2008!!
To: Tribune7
The problem with Schwarzenegger winning is more your problem than ours.
Your state will want to run its very own liberal in the Rep party and conservatives will be marginalized with the same mantra - "he/she can't win".

I can't wait for Gov. Arnold to run against Hitlery in 2008!! Well, since the only thing stopping that is the Constitution, I suppose it's quite possible it will happen. And if it came to pass, I expect the FReepers here would be cheering the "Republican" on, wouldn't they?
To: tallhappy
That planted sign is an insult to Democratic Woman! LOL. (Am I the only one on the ball enough to notice the cover of the Daily News
the next day had JoinArnold signs that said "extrodinary women" on the top of it in the same font? This thing is so slick)
I've gotta sign that it would be more appropriate to be holding to the stadium adoring The Leader, er, I mean, the Candidate.

They are drunk on something. They will have a bad hangover later.
Your comments were so well stated and articulate.
On another thread a pro-Schwarzenegger person said something that sums it up: "At this point, it hardly matters what anybody says about anything".
To: smith288
At least we'll have an opening to EDUCATE Schwarzenegger on the critical issues, such as gun rights, where he exhibits ignorance and poorly-thought-out positions. We will NOT have an opportunity to educate Cruz.
