Mr. Keyes ought to go back and compare Ronald Reagan's track record while he was governor of California -- he'd probably be shocked to discover that Reagan seemed to be two different people during the course of his political career. He governed California much as Schwarzenegger would have, and he served as President much as McClintock would have.

That is a great point.

One black mark on an otherwise great record: Reagan as governor signed what was at the time the most liberal abotion law in the US, though as I recall it was nowhere near abort-on-demand. He later said it was the biggest mistake of his political life. He's right.

I find it ironically amusing that Arnold's supporters find it necessary to sully the name of Ronald Reagan to try and make Arnold look better.

I guess if you want to kill a tree, you go for the roots...
