Vote No on Recall ...Barbra Streisand

Regardless of what you think about Grey Davis, we should all be able to agree that we must now stop this attempted hijacking of the democratic process. Impeaching Clinton ...Florida and the 2000 election ... Redistricting in Texas ... now California... What makes the Right Wing think they can just bully and buy their way into power? If we allow this recall to win, we will be setting a dangerous precedent. In this unfair process, a candidate receiving just 30% of the vote could beat Davis, even if the governor receives 49%. Our governor was elected fair and square just a year ago. He deserves the opportunity to serve out his time in office. So get out there on October 7th and vote no on recall !!!

Either spelling is acceptable when you're talking about the color, but only one spelling is correct when you're talking about the loser governor of California.

I didn't make myself clear. Either spelling is acceptable, but most Americans use "gray", just as they use "color" instead of "colour."

Since the spelling of Gray Davis's name is the same as the color, most Americans would not misspell it in this manner. Therefore, Barbra's column was ghost-written by a Brit.

Or, Barbra is too pretentious and stupid to know she made this error.

I therefore must conclude that Barbra did not write this, but has employed a flunky to do so...one who comes from Britain.

However, I must set the record straight. "Gray" is a nickname for the governor of California because of his "gray" hair.

However, the original spelling of that word is "grey," not "gray."

The dumbing down of America party has let this word be assassinated by the general populace so that "grey" has become "gray."

"Gray" was originally and only a last name.
