Why support someone who publicly dismissed Clinton's actions as inconsequential and opposed impeachment?

You just won't it give up. Thanks for bringing it to my song thread. David Schippers, a hero of mine, twice voted for Clinton. Many of the gutless GOP didn't want Clinton convicted and didn't work very hard to make it happen. I guess they should all resign.

You just can't accept that McClintock cannot win. You are living in a dream world. When I was 16, I worked in the Goldwater campaign. I kept hoping and hoping and hoping that just another 10% of people would change their minds. It didn't happen. Goldwater actually said some nice things about Clinton at the end of his life. I guess I should trash Barry's memory. There is such thing as political reality, no matter how distasteful. We'll do the best we can with what we get. Some Nader voters thought he was electable. Yes, some really did.
