Bill CLinton Just Called! (recording, of course)

The slick one just called to urge a NO vote on the California recall.
After rambling on how undemocratic it was he then cited how dave grayvis supported a woman's right to choose and a myriad of other liberal positions.
After he gave his presentaion a fast-paced almost garbled message told by whom the call was funded. It was laughable. The only part I caught was the CTA and some other educator's group. My wife's a teacher so the call was no doubt directed at her. Even if I hadn't intercepted the call it wouldn't have worked; she's already voted YES on the recall abd FOR Arnold via absentee ballot. Her union dues may have been spent funding efforts against the recall but they didn't get her vote.

I had a call from Al Gore yesterday. I hung up.

I just got a recorded call from the Sierra Club. They want me to vote No on the recall to protect the environment and a women's right to kill her fetus. Un-fricken-believable. The good ole pro-death Sierra club.

So the dems assume every teacher is a democrat? Isn't that stereotyping? I thought Dems were against that sort of thing?

Oh, please...
I'm not defending his unwelcomed touching of women be it on the a$$ or breast or even his pulling one down onto his lap. But "violent assaults on women" it was not.
These reports were intended to influence the vote; those who can think for themselves won't let it.

London's DAILY MAIL on Saturday unloaded new shocking allegations by biographer Wendy Leigh, under the headline 'DARK SIDE OF ARNIE.'
The 4,000 word story makes this week's LOS ANGELES TIMES splash on Arnold's alleged womanizing look G-rated by comparison.
"I have spoken exclusively to a woman who was subjected to a terrifying assault by Arnold when they were working together on one of his films," Leigh writes.
Leigh does not name the woman, "as she still works in Hollywood and is petrified of repercussions."
"'I worked on a film with Arnold in the years after his marriage to Maria Shriver,' Leigh quotes the woman as saying. "'We were in the studio and he followed me into the women's toilets.
"'It was scary as he is such a big, tall man. He grabbed me from behind and picked me up off the ground -- I was airborne. He wanted to have sex with me. He said: 'Come on, let's do it. You know how much I want you. I want to feel your t**s and see if they are real.' He clamped his hand on one and wouldn't let go. He had his arms around me. I kept saying: 'No, no, no.' I was trying to get away from him, and he was trying to hold me."

The slick one just called to urge a NO vote on the California recall. If you get one of these calls, whether live or from a machine, don't hang up. String'em along as long as possible. Costs 'em more, and that's time they can't spend talking to someone who might be wavering.

Check out the political bias of the Daily Mail.
And keep that in mind whenever you post stories from The Guardian, too.

I'm stunned. This is the first I've ever heard of the opposition calling the opposition. Maybe they think it's safe, since it's a recorded message and thus, not subject to "abuse" from the recipient of their intrusive call.
I had best not receive a call from ANY damn democrat! LOL.
