(watch out for Vincent Young, the next great college/pro quarterback)
Did you see the way he rolled his ankle? The replays were yikes!
A lot more flexible than I am anyway. Very good player and I'm a K-Stater

Rush was in high praise of these guys last week on his show....wow...some dream job, huh?
I didn't watch the show this Sunday, mainly because I heard how they ginned up their feigned responses after being pressured by others during the middle of the week. Now I certainly will not watch. That goes for all of ESPN's sport-shows. It will be hard to get around ESPN SportsCenter...but oh well...

Glenn Beck mentioned the show but missed his commentary. Or maybe he was just giving a preview of what he was to talk about. Anybody catch it? The talk show hosts and cosservative writers may make this the talk issue for the week.

So where did you hear this? Is there an article you can post? Who are the others?

Rush should have approached it with more caution having been put on notice that every enemy he has in the media would be combing through every word he said looking for the slightest misstep. When your enemies are out to get you don't hand them a weapon. He shouldn't have even mentioned race at all under any circumstances.

I'm not confusing any concepts, Rush said he wouldn't bring politics into it under any circumstances, he did.
NFL ratings, attendance, and revenues are up. I don't think PC is wounding it.
At least your pick isn't animated. It's still pretty insulting though. But I'll rise above and "play well" anyway.

Until reading that piece, I was not aware that 2/3 of the NFL was black. It makes you wonder what's going on with the NFL. I don't understand what you mean. Sounds to me that the NFL has it just about right in that they go after the best players regardless of skin color and regardless of whether that leads to unequal percentages or not. Wish that were true in all other fields of endeavor. Of course if the situation were reverse, if it were whites that were dominate in numbers in the NFL, then all the racemongers would be coming out of the woodwork saying/screaming that minorities were being discriminated against and that some sort of quota system needs to be in place.
Well okay, i guess that is kind of happening now in regards to coaching. But putting that aside, let's face it, the NFL and the other leagues produce a great product because there is virtually no PCism when it comes to selecting players (not that i'm aware of at least). Everyone wants to win and wants the best players to win with. Blacks just happen to be better athletes right now as is evidenced by their dominance in Olympic track & field events and so that's why there are a disproportionate number of them in the NFL.

Did you see the way he rolled his ankle? The replays were yikes! No, didn't see that game. Just a couple highlights, one where Young completed a nice pass but they didn't show the ankle roll. Mostly i based my prediction that he'd be a great one on an earlier game i caught this year where he played some mop up minutes. For a true freshman he is unbelievable and just watching him in a series or two is enough to realize the awesome potential he has - runs like a Michael Vick, is much taller though i believe, and has a very good arm. Texas is going to scary with him at the helm over the next few years.

McNabb and his Mom were doing a new Chunky Soup commercial tonight (new to me anyway) and everything became quite clear. Everyone was asking, "McNabb, Who? when they saw the commercial, but not anymore. Everyone now knows that McNabb is the soso quarterback for the Eagles, alegedly dissed by Rush on ESPN.
The whole damned thing from the hiring of Rush to his resignation, was about selling soup. Rush deserves royalties from those Chumpy Soup commercials, regardless of whether he was in on the scam or not.

(When the law of survival has been rescinded, all other laws are meaningless!)
Rush made it very clear that ALL subjects were open, so long as there a correlation to football.
The subject he brought up clearly dealt with football and how the media covers it.
And Tom Jackson clearly LIED!
Jackson claimed that Limbaugh "broke a trust." The truth is, the entire cast had a rehersal that Saturday, Rush went over the same stuff, and NOBODY raised the issue.

Link to website does not equal backing up opinion, in face of resignation.
Understand, I believe his opinion was reasonable, I just disagreed with it, and my point was that he did not back it up in the moment.

That's why it was an opinion. IFAIK, 99.94% of opinions on sports talk shows are NOT backed up. And that's my opinion.
