[history]
I have just witnessed one of the strangest events I have ever seen on the political campaign trail.
It began shortly after the conclusion of Arnold Schwarzenegger's campaign rally in downtown Modesto. As the press was filing out, several reporters suddenly surrounded a woman standing in the pedestrian mall near the rally site. Only a few reporters could hear what she was saying. Soon the word spread: "She's looking for Arnold," one reporter told another, who told another. More reporters gathered around. Cameras and tape recorders were thrust toward her face.

Honestly, if there were such a thing as a journalism gene I just might favor abortion.

As he boarded the press bus, a reporter was overheard saying:
"Damn. Guess I'll have to do it myself again. Pass the whole cloth, please..."

The woman, with long brown hair, wore a bright red top, black Capri pants, and sandals, and she carried a canvas bag over her shoulder....She didn't have a face?

Nothing's weird about the Dem press.
What's weird is what brings someone who has stayed away from FR for years back to post.

As I have told others, it offends me that a "conservative" new forum would pimp for a pro-abortion candidate who promises to be--in the midst of apologizing for alleged sexual assaults--the "candidate of women, the candidate for women". Whatever that means.
I enjoy lurking much more than posting. But when a bunch of posters who can't see the forest for the trees start thinking that the conservative mantle can be picked up by someone who hasn't got a real conservative bone in his body, I am offended.
I, personally, have no will-to-power. Democrats do--it's their calling card. That's their deal, not mine. And, until recently, I thought that conservatives were immune from it. I guess I was wrong.

"The young lady is looking for her sister," Stutzman said flatly.""She was seeking to have a conversation with Arnold Schwarzenegger," Stutzman said
Stutzman must be pretty green.
You don't change your story within a five minute time span.

Damn that man for driving that Ford Escort wagonReal men don't drive Ford Escort Wagons :-)

I'm offended by the gall of someone who claims that Freepers think Arnold is going to pick up the conservative mantle.
It sounds like a Dem strawman argument- no "conservative" would try one so silly.
But, whatever, enjoy your visit.

"You don't change your story within a five minute time span. " You do when you don't know what your going to say next,
or are trying to "make a story"
To: mrsmith
Are you implying that I am a dem? How little you know.
BTW, many of the pro-Arnold types on FreeRepublic are acting like he will get something conservative done. My guess is he will be the Second Coming of ... Mike Bloomberg. And, no, I would not have voted for him either.
