Damn! Does this mean we don't get to bomb the Eiffel Tower?

France said it stopped producing any type of Roland missile in 1993. "There can be no 2003 missiles since these missiles have not been made for 15 years," Chirac told reporters in Rome.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Do I detect a contradiction here?

Merde!
I was enjoying the thought of sticking one of those missiles right up Chirac's hooty snoot!

That's OK. I beleive we have already found weapons from France that violate the UN sanctions and, I'm sure we'll find some more. You cant fault the Polish commander for blaming one of Saddam's best allies for this find.

You know, it would really help sheeple like my self if the WMD news sanitizers zapped these stories in utero. That conveniently keeps all the bad thoughts concerning national vulnerability and mistrust of our European allies safely out of mind. Simply changing the story after the fact just doesn't seem to cut it.

Prime Minister Leszek Miller met with Chirac twice to explain the mistake. Germany, France, Italy and Russia (in this order) are the main trade partners of Poland. USA is about 3%. It was a mistake :)

So, France, what were the missiles, and when were they sent to Iraq? In short, what is the CORRECT information?

Just because they stopped making them in 93 doesnt mean they didnt sell them in 2003.
