I have wondered for the last 24 hours how Maria Schriver is feeling, watching the party that her family has been a very large part of for 3+ generations trying their utmost to totally trash her husband. Is she starting to doubt the value and integrity of any and all Democrats?
I really feel sorry for her. She obviously loves Arnold, and has a good marriage with him. They seem to be trying very hard to keep their kids grounded and not full of themselves despite the wealth of both parents.
If anyone needs our prayers in the next week, it may be Maria more than Arnold. I think before all this is over, she may find that the most compassionate party of all is the Republican party and its voters.
