Many Democrats Have Turned Against Davis (Davis IS Toast!)

As for the allegations that Schwarzenegger groped women, Evans dismissed the reports "as a ploy to get him to lose supporters."
"If it really was a big deal, it would have come out at the time that it happened," he said.
For many of these Democrats, their distaste for Davis has overtaken most other concerns.
Bill Klein, a public utility manager, said the charges against Schwarzenegger are problematic but said he is more disturbed by the way Davis has handled his job.
"I'm a lifelong Democrat, but the man has no leadership ability," said Klein, a local school board member who said his district had to struggle with cuts this year. "He has not run the state well, and for God's sake, he's got a Democratic Legislature."

On Tuesday, a record 30% of Democrats will vote YES on the recall and FOR Arnold. Quite simply put, Gray Davis is toast. Almost no one in the Democratic Party, apart from hard-core Davis junkies, likes him. Most Democrats can't stand the man. As Bill Klein put it, "the man has no leadership ability." There you have the verdict on the Gray Davis Era and what's fascinating about it is this is the article the Los Angeles Times buried INSIDE its Saturday pages. This should really be front page news but then again it would alerting the public to the fact the election is all but over. Many Democrats Have Turned Against Davis. Frame that headline on Wednesday morning and you will understand exactly why Davis will no longer be California's Governor then.

So it is now up to 30% of the rats voting for the recall of Davis.
As of Thursday I had heard that it was as high as 20% statewide and higher in S. California.
I hope that either % is correct and that our guys are #1 and #2 with Cruz Busta Our Wallets a distant #3.
That mandate then can be used like clubs on the perverted rats in charge our legislature. The message is if you fight real reform from the new governor, you will be an unemployed pervert except in San Francisco.

But .. but ... but .... I saw a picture of Davis and Clinton. Clinton is supporting Davis. How could this be???????? I mean, for this article to be true, it would mean that Clinton's influence had little effect!! Or worse yet, a negative one!!!!!!!! I hope this doesn't sound too sarcastic! < /sarcasm>

Clinton is sort of like Saddam, as far as democrat political operatives. Until he is 'dead' he's got power over party leadership.
The voters feel no loyalty to Clinton or Davis.

Yep. And Clinton's lack of power with voters while still at the helm of the RAT party doesn't bode well for the RATs. Wadda pity! ;-)

Most Rats can't stand Davis and most republicans can't stand McC. BustaMeChe is residual. Arnold is the only one with a positive message.
If Arnold can't straighten things out, he'll admit it and split.

That's why Arnold's negatives are twice McClintock's, right?

Don't depend on waking up on Wednesday with Arnold the Governor.
First, there is a load of absentee ballots that must be hand counted.
And then, there is Democrat Plan B.
Plan B entails every legal maneuver that can be brought to bear to nullify the election.
I would be surprised to see Arnold in the Governor's Mansion for Thanksgiving, and maybe not even by Christmas.

"

Shame, he seemed like such a good man.
It's off to the waste bin of obscurity for him.

You can expect them to take a page from Philly and raise the dead. I'll be disappointed if I see anything less than 102% turnout in the minority districts.
To: goldstategop
I hope your right. One other sign is the fact that clinton boy is not campaigning for davis right now, Even though davis says it is close. Clinton does not want to be associated with a loser. Does anyone have any polling news after these smear tactics.

What is the history of the unions in California with the GOTV?
I admit to going to the "underground" over the past couple of weeks, and they are crowing over the organizing of the unions this weekend and next week. They are going to be scouring the neighborhoods looking for votes.
Does anyone think this will have any appreciable effect on Tuesday. Is it possible that these are not being counted in the polls, and that it is much closer than we think?
Do the Republicans have any sort of GOTV projects? Or do they have enough poll watchers?
I truly hope that McClintock voters think of this as they must make that last minute decision, winner=Arnold, or loser=McClintock. I am quite fearful that Arnolds large lead in the polls as of today, may make McClintock voters think that voting for him will do no harm.
Disclaimer=I am not knocking McClintock voters, I am all for voting your conscience, I just would hate to find out Wednesday that your conscience means a Bustemante Gov.

"Clinton does not want to be associated with a loser."
Why not Clinton is a loser. I would think he would want to be associated with his own kind.

Ten minutes ago Al Gore called me to urge my vote against the recall ("Hello, this is former Vice President Al Gore urging you to vote 'no' on the recall" click)--too bad it was a recording or his ears would still be ringing. The Dems are pulling out all the stops, calling all markers and the gloves are off. Boy, is this fun or what?

I'm a lifelong Democrat, but the man has no leadership ability," said Klein, a local school board member who said his district had to struggle with cuts this year. "He has not run the state well, and for God's sake, he's got a Democratic Legislature."The reason why he hasn't run the state well is because he has a Democratic legislature. There's no one to stop these socialists.
