FReep the LA Times HERE! Had enough? CLICK HERE and feel better in 30-SECONDS!!!

Had enough of the garbage the LA Times is spewing? Here is a passage from their webpage:
"If you have questions or concerns about The Times' journalistic standards and practices, or you believe we have made an error, you may contact:
Los Angeles Times Readers' Representative Office e-mail: readers.rep@latimes.com Telephone message line: (877) 554-4000 Fax: (213) 237-3535"
If you're like me, you have a TRUCKLOAD of questions about their standards (or lack thereof) and errors you'd like to point out!
For some good ammo (if you have access to, say, Lexis-Nexis), go to this story:
Closet Wacko vs. Mega-fibber; Once again, the California Democratic Party has served up two lousy candidates for governor: Gray Davis and Al Checchi By Jill Stewart New Times Los Angeles (California) November 27, 1997, Thursday
If you are short on time, but would like to send the LA Slimes a "love-letter", then here is my suggestion (remember, facts are not copyrightable, so you can send this):
Cut-and-paste the following into an email:
_____________________________________________
Dear LA Times,
In an effort to demonstrate to the public that you are not out to get Arnold, how about printing these facts about Davis to even things out...
According to several California government staffers, Gov. Davis often assaults staffers while "creaming the f-word with more venom than Nixon"
A former Davis staffer says, "I guess Gray's biggest lie is pretending that he operates within the bounds of normalcy, which is not true. This is not a normal person. I will never forget the day he physically attacked me, because even though I knew he had done it before to many others, you always want to assume that Gray would never do it to you, or that he has finally gotten help."
Another staffer reports that, after one of his questionable fundraising sources went bust, "[Davis] just went into one of his rants of, 'F--k the f--king f--k, f--k, f--k!' I can still hear it ringing in my ears. When I stood up to insist that he not talk to me that way, he grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me until my teeth rattled. I was so stunned I said, 'Good God, Gray! Stop and look at what you are doing! Think what you are doing to me!' And he just could not stop."
This is the man, the Governor, your paper is standing behind. It is only fair that the people know the man that is being recalled.

HELLO LA TIMES,
Your VERY REPREHENSIBLE practices to ignore and keep silent Gray Sewerwater Davis' repeated physical and verbal assaults on secretarial and other staff while attacking Arnold in such a duplicitous, destructive-to-democracy way . . .
is EXCEEDINGLY HIDEOUS.
May you lose subscribers, advertisers, money, sleep and friends in proportion to your journalistic ethics violations.
May the LA times leaders implementing such hideous practices be soon out of a job and take years to find another one.
May everyone you know and whom you meet on the street rail and rant at your hideous behaviors in such matters.
May you have nightmares of the assaulted Davis staff [particularly the 60+ year old secretary] screaming at you relentlessly.
May you wander the streets bewildered and aghast at what you've done until you publish a public apology.
May you have to memorize all the ethics documents and all the Scriptures about honesty and integrity.
In the Name of Almighty God and all that is good and honorable in this formerly Land of The Free.
Sincerely,

GRAY DAVIS - A CLOSET WACKO?
New Times LA

Closet Wacko vs. Mega-fibber
Once again, the California Democratic Party has served up two lousy candidates for governor: Gray Davis and Al Checchi
By Jill Stewart

I have this file, labeled "Gray Davis," that for the last few years I've been stuffing with the bizarre tales quietly shared among journalists and insiders about the man who, though viewed as a blandly pleasant talking head by most Californians, is one of the strangest ducks ever elected to statewide office.
Long protected by the news media, the baby-faced Davis has been allowed to move higher and higher in public office despite his history of physical violence, unhinged hysteria, and gross profanity.
Perhaps you are among the millions never told of Lieutenant Governor Davis's widely known penchant for physically attacking his own staff throughout his career, from his days as chief of staff to ex-Gov. Jerry Brown to his long stint as state controller to his current job.
Davis's hurling of phones and ashtrays at quaking government employees and his incidents of personally shoving and shaking horrified workers -- "usually while screaming the f-word with more venom than Nixon," as one former staffer reminds me -- bespeak a man who cannot be trusted with power. Since his attacks on subordinates aren't "domestic violence," I need a lexicon that is more Dilbertesque. I propose "office batterer" for your consideration as you observe Davis in his race for the top job.
The most disturbing thing to me is the ease with which California's power elite, many of whom know how unhinged Davis really is, laugh off the public deception as a jolly bit of fun. "He'll never be governor," one Democratic state senator explained to me last year, justifying his own failure to out Davis. "He'll never even be the nominee," the senator insisted.
And that's certainly what I believed until Davis announced his intention to run for governor, and the only apparent Democratic "competition" to step forward was Al Checchi. Checchi is the guy who squeezed $50 million out of a lot of little people 10 years ago in his sudden vault from silver-spooned graduate of Harvard Business School to Texas mega-multimillionaire during the reorganization of Disney. The Disney deal turned Checchi into an overnight player who immediately began dreaming of becoming a Texas senator -- or was it governor?

Sure doesn't surprise me. He's evil after the manner of Shrillery--he's worse than Dilldo.
