I find it always strange when religious leaders think they could make politics, and I have met too many tolerant, friendly, Muslims to say that it´s the religion to be blamed for that.

I used to know one of those. He complained to personnel when I put a US flag in my cubicle on 9/12/01.

Not wearing a headscarf is allowed in the Muslim world - the Coran does not explicitly order women to wear headscarfs. In fact, it only says that all female attractions must be masked. It´s up to every single Muslima to decide wether to wear it or not.
