Let's see - do I believe trailer park trash that has been convicted of cocaine, or do I believe Rush Limbaugh?
Hmmmmm...now *that* is a tough one!

Sorry to disappoint you but I am sick of pompous asses like Rush who lord their wealth and privilege over everyone and get to play with a different set of rules.

Rush has had zero tolerance for drug abusers in the past and has excoriated trial lawyers as well.

Now he retains them to defend himself against drug charges!

You don't see the irony in that, not to mention the hypocrisy?

Rush has been very careful not to deny these charges too so that makes me think there is something to them, not just the story from the maid.

One or two threads about unsubstantiated gossip (until there are charges there is no offense) may be tolerable but 80+ threads and starting up a bunch more to wage class envy is trolling.

There are more important matters at hand like the French made missiles located in Iraq (A HREF="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/994679/posts">Polish troops find new French missiles in Iraq") and there is this story that has run under several headlines: BREAKING?: 60 Million In Biological Warheads, Chemical Arms en Route to Europe Snagged

Keep on your little drug war rant. Light up your spliff and feel "relevant".

Is a defense attorney a "trial lawyer"? Or is an ambulance chaser a "trial lawyer"? All legal actions may need to go before to court to be resolved, that would require a "trial". Where do YOU draw the line on what a "trial lawyer" is?

Hmmmm....who else would he retain? The milkman? A supermodel with braces? Or maybe a put a monkey in a suit and give him a cute little briefcase...

Of course he's going to hire the best lawyer around for defending a high-profile media circus case. But then, he could always try to defend himself - but that might be arrogant.

"The claims against Limbaugh are bogus He's a great American"

I agree, the claims are purely made up. Rush is not saying any thing right now. He is waiting to see what the National Enquirer is going to publish about him.

If, they publish what this Wilma Cline has said, Rush will own the Enquirer when this is over.

It can all be traced back to the DNC. Clinton.

Too much of this story smells. If she was the maid, why not bring the pills directly to the house. No need for parking lot transfers.

And 100 pills a day? In a 16 hour day that is a bit over 6 an hour. With pre show prep and his three hour show (figure 4-6 hours- that is 24-36 pills!), there are lots of people who can testify to any use.

He wouldn't be able to survive that many pills in a day, or at least he'd be extremely ill. That's O.D. and DOA dosage.

The claims against Limbaugh are bogus

He has had numerous chances to deny them yet he has not. Not the actions of an innocent man. If I was accused of this and it was untrue I'd certainly deny it.

Have you seen actual, for real charges against Limbaugh by the authorities or are you talking about charges "discussed" in the media?

Mr. Limbaugh is not under arrest but what he says (and is recorded/transcribed) could be used against him in a court of law. Art Bell dropped off the airwaves when he fought phoney charges. It is always best to remain silent on pending legal matters and let an attorney speak for you.

Rush isn't the only one who is "strangely" silent right now. I can understand why he is, because his own investigators need to find out who is behind this. Sounds like a celebrity setup to me. Rush had a ligitimate prescription for a small amount of pills and these criminals used his name to buy thousands, which they used/sold themselves.

But where are the Clintons on all this? Why aren't they rejoicing and condemning Rush in front of thousands of TV cameras? Why am I not hearing their opinions on this on the radio? They've been after Rush for years. Now when it seems he's in trouble, they just strangely clam up? Does anyone have a link to a comment by the Clintons on this?

Since she worked for Rush, why would she need to meet him in parking lots in areas where his Mercedes would stick out like a sore thumb? She could have just brought the stuff to work i.e his mansion with her.

She says she supplied 11,900 pills in 6 months...that's 66 narcotic mind numbing pills per day....The more details we get the more this story stinks to high heaven.

The story has already been published. Newspapers across the country are quoting from it. It's been on the network news and cable TV has been screaming about it. How much worse could it get?

If, they publish what this Wilma Cline has said, Rush will own the Enquirer when this is over.

It's already been published. However, with a public figure like Rush to win a libel suit, there's a very high threshold to surmount. And the National Enquirer would delight in deposing Rush and publishing quotes from the depositions in their rag.

A defense attorney is a trial lawyer, by definition.

Not fishy. He could have been laying in a supply.

No you wouldn't. Not if you had a competant attorney.

The Clintons are silent on Ah nold, too. And Wilson. Gee, imagine them ALL coming out at the same time. Of course, Davis did a little speaking out. I guess everyone forgot that he harbored Condit when Condit was being investigated.

Ah nolds ALLEGED groping happened years ago. The Enquirer had the story on Rush two years ago (and I'm sure the Clines would have been paid then), and the "supposed" explosive article on Wilson was in July.

It sure dampened the Kay news and any comments on the President. And anyone that thinks that the UN Policy ended Saddam's efforts at WMD is an idiot. It is what he does and a master of deceit. The entire world gives him credit for that.

The Dems are busy!!
