What are codpieces? Decorative athletic cups.
To: MamaTexan
Ahhhh-so. Thanks for wizening me up.
To: ambrose
Dang this stinks. I'm going to Las Vegas in 1.5 weeks and staying at the Mirage. Siegfried and Roy (if Roy recovers) will probably be postponed for months. My prayers are with Roy. This is terrible.

..don't euthanize the cat...
But don't reward it by letting it go free in the wild, or the other cats might be inspired to do the same thing.
To: Beelzebubba
Do the same thing? Like, run off and join a circus?

Whether you like the tiger or not, they are still a creation of God and we are not commanded by God to destroy His creation, but to care for it. Not worship it, but not destroy it either.
Whether I agree with their politics, sexual orientation or anything else, they are not forcing me to pay for their beliefs. They are pursuing their beliefs financially in a way that I agree with.
And, yes, I would have no problem reintroducing the tigers back into any neighborhood I live in, if that were their natural habitat. I grew up in the wilds of NM, dealt with mountain lions, rattle snakes and a host of other animals that were dangerous. I would never agree with their total destruction. If they came onto our property and were destructive, we killed them. But we did not go out with the intentions of entirely wiping out a species just because of one bad one.

I would think it is the rhino... they seem to have such a nasty personality.
To: Beelzebubba
Probably letting it go into the wild would assure its death. It wouldn't survive very long without hunting skills.
To: Rodney King
I assumed they both were.
Then good for the tiger!

From the report I read off AOL's page, the cat was making its stage debut. I'm guessing that had a lot to do with it.

How adorable! All baby animals are SO cute. False advertising,; that's what it is! Even RATs are cute when they're little.

I wish it wasn't so serious. But...but.... I bet he was/is a democrat liberal.
You're a moron.

Wonder if the jackass from post 102 will take back his death wish for Roy. Now that he supports a Republican, he might be worthy of life.

We were at the Cheyenne Mountain zoo in Colorado a few years ago and there was a mama and a baby hippo playing with a big ball. Some of the pictures didn't turn out to well, but it was fun and unusual to watch. Here is one of the pictures...this one's the baby.

I've read of two incidents of hitting the tiger with the mike from all the stories. The first when Roy accidentally>/b>hit the tiger, and the second when he started beating the tiger with it after it tried to eat him basically.
Sounds like just a horrible accident to me.

"Emergency officials treated Horn at the Mirage Hotel-Casino around 8:20 p.m. (10:20 p.m. ET), for massive blood loss." Sounds like the tiger may have hit the jugular. If that's the case, is recovery even possible?
