I remember a circus show on T.V. that I saw when I was a kid. There was a female lion tamer in a cage doing her routine with the cats. Everything was going fine, then one cat jumped on another one and within a few seconds all of the cats in the cage just went nuts. The trainer got out of the cage before she was attacked, and they sprayed the cats down with hoses trying to break them up. Supposedly they had been trained for years, and it all broke down in a few seconds.

I would work with a lot of different animals, but big cats scare the dickens out of me. I just don't trust them. The little ones are fiesty enough. The big ones are just too potentially dangerous for me to want to be around.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A tiger attacked magician Roy Horn of the duo "Siegfried & Roy" during a Friday night performance at The Mirage hotel-casino, authorities said.

Roy was attacked at the throat, said Clark County Fire spokesman Bob Leinbach. He was taken to University Medical Center; Leinbach did not know his condition.

The illusionists, who put on one of the most well-known and expensive Las Vegas shows with their signature white tigers and lions, signed a lifetime contract with the Mirage in 2001.

Fishbachler, 61, and 56-year-old Roy Uwe Ludwig Horn have performed together in Las Vegas for more than 30 years. They opened at the Mirage hotel-casino in February 1990.
