Prayers for our civilians who choose to go to Iraq to help the troops. Over 100,000 Americans working for private firms are now providing security, food service, mail delivery, business and reconstruction help. They're being targetted along with the Iraqis who are helping us, easier targets for the enemy. Many are Veterans who chose to go to Iraq to also help the less experienced, younger troops.
God bless the FR prayer warriors.

bentfeather has made a request for prayer for young friend of hers.
"I ask for this young man to be remembered in prayer.
I have his permission to post his name on the Prayer List.

We are joining you in prayer for your young friend, Ms Feather! Please let him know we are thinking of him and thank him for his service to our country.
Merciful Heavenly Father,
We place before you this young man named Pvt. Gabriel Munoz. Father, he has made the decision to train as a soldier and fight for the safety of this country and her allies as well as for the freedom of oppressed peoples in other nations. Convey directly to his heart so that he knows of a certainty the measure of gratitude we feel for his service and sacrifice.
Father, we call forth a special assignment to him from your heart for his namesake, the Archangel Gabriel. Let that mighty Archangel clear the way before him with blasts from his trumpet which can bring the Enemy to its knees. Protect this young man named Gabriel with the impenetrable spiritual armor we have been calling here "prayer blankets."
Let this whole armor of God cover him from head to toe. Let it be on him at all times and in all situations, especially in any situations fraught with danger. Grant him insight, courage, wisdom, quick reflexes, and strength of body, heart, and soul.
Father, we ask that his family and loved ones will be held close to your heart during their separation from Gabriel.
Father, we are grateful to have the opportunity here in time and space to meet together by technological means. Please take all our prayers, meditations, devotions, and whispers of the heart and fashion them into a mighty sword of Victory. Let this sword be used according to the need of the hour by the hand of your own Son to bring about your Will in this entire situation in the Middle East and in the War on Terror throughout the planet. We call forth your righteous judgement in His name upon those who hate America, who hate Freedom, who hate the Light which you are.
Father, this which we call forth for our young friend Gabriel, we call forth for all our precious young men and women. Let our prayers be multiplied and expanded as much as your Great Law will allow, for the purpose of bringing these young people home safe and Victorious in this fight against the Evil arrayed against us. We ask that all our prayers be adjusted and perfect and whole according to thy Will so that we may not ever be praying amiss.
We thank you Father, and we commend into your hands and keeping Gabriel and all our troops, their loved ones, our leaders, and our own lives.
Amen
