The "environmentalists" were NEVER for the environment. The only exception being their low-level brain-washed duped thugs. With allies like the World Workers party, Zero-Poputlation Growth Movement, ANSWER, and others it is very apparent their only concern is reducing humanity to an enslaved thrawl while they maintain their "elite" status and lifestyle in the dachas.

I see we have the same high opinion of the enviro whack jobs. True story, My wife was a seafood chef in a resturant in Cedar Key when the net ban came about. Her family have been fishing all their lives and were kinda pissed about the ban. A guy walked in and ordered a mullett dinner and complained about the price. My wife came out of the kitchen and asked what the problem was.He said the price went up $2 a plate in a week. She asked if he voted for the net ban, and of course his answer was a big yes.She dumped his plate in the middle of the table and said it was now free, and told him that the mullett did not grow on trees. Every one in the Resturant gave her a standing ovation.

As Rush said long ago, the environmental movement is where the communists went after losing power.
It's all about anti-capitalism.
