a mentally ill rapist living next door to a young family. "There needs to be a change in the system" is certainly an understatement.

Lisa Durant was paring apples in the kitchen at the time and ran to the yard when she heard the girls screaming. She said she found McCauley assaulting her daughter I have four daughters age 2, 4, 6, and 9. Knowing my wife, if she had been paring apples in the kitchen and came across this scene in our backyard, that paring knife would be firmly embedded somewhere in the perps body.

McCauley's probation officer, Roy Gutfinski, said Thursday that McCauley had been receiving assistance from two ESM employees at all times. They were responsible for making sure he ate, went to bed on time and didn't leave the facility.Tax dollars well spent...
Can I get two round the clock butlers provided at state expense???

somewhere in the perps body. You do not mean "somewhere randomly selected", do you...

He said he later asked the girl how her sisters got away. "She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said.
Ballsy kid!

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said. These people are obviously raising their kids right. They're almost up to five. I hope they have a dozen, and raise them all to be just like this one.

Yeh, my wife would have pared a "pair" off and then embedded the knife!

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said. A heroine at 7. We sure could use more like her.

They were responsible for making sure he ate, went to bed on time and didn't leave the facility. What a waste of money. They should fire these two incompetent slackers and instead of two lazy slugs watching this creep, pump two slugs into his worthless body. Won't happen though. He'll kill some little girl first.

Make prison psychiatrists and parole board members live one week a month in halfway houses of released cons from the next county. No sweetheart deals. I call it "community paroling."

'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' I think the word "hero" gets overused, these days. It is thoroughly appropriate for this young lady.

I agree. Lots of things are happeneing right in this family. The dad takes time to train the kids. The oldest girl obeys the dad's advice, and helps the younger kids escape. The mom pays attention to her kids' screams, and runs out to defend her oldest daughter.
I'm glad she's pregnant again.

Is it just me or does the thought of some sicko abducting a young child generate a red haze across the eyes? Im a peaceful man but damn if my teeth don't clamp shut, my fists get jumpy and visions of skull-crushing head-on-pavement stomping dart thru the ol brain.
Good to know there is a primal man somewhere deep inside the veneer.

Two in the chest, one in the head.
Then empty the rest of the magazine into his head.
Nothing like being sure.

These people are obviously raising their kids right. I taught my daughters when they were young the proper tactics to ward off a sexual attack. You just hit or kick them in the gonads and when they bend over from the pain, you bring your knee up right into their nose. But then again...I also taught them how to hock and spit...: )

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " I expect this from my soldiers, not a 7 yr old girl. My hat's off to her and her family. My wife or I would have shot the guy with every gun we own and then went after him with the knives. Then those taxpayer funded butlers could go back to goofing off (smelling for chemicals...riiiight).
Yep, but don't worry National Socialist Neo-Liberals, your precious Orwiellian pubic school system will do their upmost to drive all this independence and self-reliance from this child. That way, next time she won't resist and you can blame right-wing fanatic gun-owners (even if no gun was used) and demand more of our rights be taken to "protect the children".
Sorry, it's been a media induced, high-blood pressure week.
