I'm curious what leads you to the adjective "mindless." I spelled out the thinking behind my position; I made clear there is a logic and rationale supporting it. While you may disagree with my stance, it is clearly not "mindless." Please explain what leads you to the adjective "mindless."
And yes, there's a big problem with using incorrect medication that will only make things worse in the long run. Self medication isn't funny, it's not cool. It's a real bad problem.
First, it doesn't necessarily "make things worse in the long run." Second, I didn't say self-medication is "funny" or "cool." Pain is not funny or cool; relieving pain certainly isn't, either. Third, people in pain will tell you the pain is a "real bad problem"; finding a solution to that pain is a much better state of existence.
