He should just issue a blanket apology and move on,

Why? Suppose he was set up? Why can't you wait until the facts come out, or is it the seriousness of the charge more important than the truth?

That part of my post referred to the ESPN comment, not the alleged substance abuse.

If there was an investigation, and it was a fraud, his entire team would launch an all out attack on the maid, the cops, the dealers. They'd go for a first round knock out. Before this goes one inch further.

that was a pretty bad cover of the NY daily news yesterday "DRUG RUSH"? Would you just say: "I can't talk about this yet", if it was a total fraud. They are using a different strategy.

There are some defenses you do if your innoncent and some you do if your guilty. What type is this?
