Your reply consists "Is it?" followed by a giggle? Now I see why you can only come to simple conclusions.

"...Okay, so it's not just me... I haven't been registered here that long but there seems to be a lot of left of center types on FR. Now, I did lurk here several years ago and the spirit of the site was much different... maybe DUers set up a lot of sleeper accounts?..." I have refrained from spending much time on FR in recent months because of the vitriol that is so common among many posters on multiple subjects. I come here for news updates and invariably get turned off and log out. It smacks of the frustration I feel when the Republicans cave and don't defend their (supposed) beliefs publicly in the media and stand up to defend fellow Republicans that deserve their support. Bunch of jerks...chalk it up. :o)

The Enquire didn't break the Monica Story .. it was Drudge. The Enquirer broke the story on Monica's blue dress with the incriminating stain.

Maybe he HAD a prescription and the maid changed the story, forged his name, forged the doctor's name or any number of other scenarios.
MS. Wilma (J.) Cline is no innocent. (The 'J' added for effect)and has a list of crimes.

Use your brain. Have you not heard of "not commenting" about ongoing investigations? Hello.....He's a celebrity, in the public eye. He can comment on anything he pleases if false allegatioins are directed at him. The drug allegations are flying in the public and all over the media, and directed at him personally.
I don't give a good GD if any investigation is on going. LOL!
"IF ONE IS COMPLETELY INNOCENT OF THESE PUBLIC ALLEGATIONS, ONE WOULD BE WISE TO STAND UP AND SAY, "THESE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE, NOT TRUE, AND I AM INNOCENT OF THESE ALLEGATIONS".
Regardless of any on going investigation....As a matter of fact, one would be stupid not to say this, if one was completely innocent.
LOL!

But let's be honest: the last time we saw a public figure issued such a transparent non-denial was, oh, August 1998. I listened from 12-12:30 and it seemed pretty clear to me that he was stonewalling.

I wonder what is going on here sometimes. It's all part of the ebb and flow. Keeps things interesting, to say the least...... :-)

You don't know if chargers are going to be brought against you, the nature of the investigation etc. When you are in a situation where you may or may not be charged with a crime, you need to shut your mouth. You don't need to give anyone anymore evidence than they already have.

"I wonder what is going on here sometimes."
That sums it up perfectly.
To: wizzler
I'm sorry wizzler, but I simply disagree with you on this. As a person who has experienced horrible amounts of pain and have been to doctor after doctor for help and was dismissed and told there was nothing they could do for me because they couldn't find the source causing my pain, I had to basically "suck it up." It came to the point in my life where I was faced with the decision of commiting suicide or making myself better on my own.....without help from drugs. I wouldn't even know where to get them if I wanted them and the Drs. weren't prescribing. I did research, enlightened myself about different diagnosises (?) and came to the conclusion that I, like many other women, suffer from Fibromyalgia. I've joined a gym, work out on a regular basis, have cut out alcohol and am living as healthy a lifestyle as possible. While I still face pain on a daily basis, I've learned to deal with it because my being well effects everyone around me including my beautiful children who are so happy to have their mommy "back."
I don't believe that everyone can "magically" make their pain go away and that people do need help controlling pain......(believe me if I was prescribed pain killers I would have taken them), but because the drugs are so addictive it leads people on a downward spiral that many don't escape. The laws are deterents because there are some of us who would have been tempted to go down that road if the opportunity arose and because it wasn't readily available we're better off. At least i know that I am.

Hitlery, is that you? Taking a break from Smear-Week? No, I am not Hillary Clinton, which should be clear from the initial post in which I stated that I dislike the Clintons.
Your post simply lends credence to my observation that much of the debate here is based in emotion rather than in logic and reason.

It feels the same to me now, but it never used to......things have changed around here.

What he said was that the assertion of a commonly held opinion as a subjective fact, rather than hearing it as an equally common expression, is not merely speculative. To the contrary.

He's entitled to a presumption of innocence in court. And anything he says on the air can be used against him in court, by a DA whose only intent is to convict Rush, not "find the truth."
Connect the dots.
