If you throw Rush overboard, Hitlery wins.

I'm not demanding to be informed
Again with the reading comprehension problems. I did not say you were demanding to be informed. I said you were demanding to not be informed.
Im done with you. Ignorance is tolerable, but youre also boring.

I agree. That's why I said all he had to say was his attorney has told him not to talk about it until they have all the facts. All I said was that his comment that he doesn't know what he is dealing with was not the proper comment. It makes him look like he is in denial.
To: MineralMan
Lawyer or not, you are correct. If he was not taking these prescription drugs bought without a prescription, the appropriate line is: You bet I'm right.
He's got a big ol problem here.

I love Rush Limbaugh for what he has done for conservative causes--whether he gave the left more ammunition or not concerns me not one iota. If he does have a drug problem, all I care about is that he gets help and cures himself.
We must all understand that even if this is completely proven untue on every single allegation, the left will have their issue anyway. Truth is never a consideration to libs, and human failing only deserves consideration when the human is a g**d*m liberal democrat.
So I say, the lefties can go F*** themselves sideways.
To: Once-Ler
Rush is only human. I wish he would tell us what is going on but he needs to take care of himself first. Rush was the voice that turned me away from liberalism. I have listened to him since 1988. If he has purchased illegal drugs I will be sad but I can forgive him and still listen to his entertaining and informative show. May God Bless you Rush.I agree with all you said; however, my criticism was aimed at the ESPN comments, not the alleged substance abuse.

if the American people threw the socialist nanny-state busybodies, whether they call themselves 'liberals' or 'conservatives', Maybe this will wake up a few on the right, but I fear not enough to make a difference. : (

Either you will continue to deflect, bob, or weave with some glib answers or address the issue. And if you were in his place, you would...........? Be specific.

A drug addict would "turn over anyone, even their mother" to stay out of jail so they could continue on with their drug use. It wouldn't matter if it was true or not, as long as they can still drug seek. The National Enquirer just financed this druggies habit for a long time to come.

Great post!
It's too bad that socialist ideals have swept American liberty into the trash.

Spoken like a true drugist. I'm assuming you meant to type "druggist." A druggist is a pharmacist, or one who sells drugs. I am not a pharmacist, nor do I sell drugs.
Nevermind all the pain these things cause in the longterm, a short term fix is always better than the big picture to a drugist.
People in pain will do what they need to do to relieve pain. There is nothing bad or shameful about it.

I agree. It seems like his style not to dignify the accusation. Just yet, that is.

Rush seems sincerely more concerned about his getting fired that the drug issue. He is really hurt of having to resign or being fired because os his comments.
To: habs4ever
You hire him if you are guilty.Right. And if you're innocent, you settle for the public defender, even if you can afford the best legal representation in the country. You're so clever.

Talk about a great left wing conspiracy. Total conjecture here, but what if this particular maid offered Rush these drugs at various times and got him hooked. What if Rush was targeted. How hard would it be for someone to pay Rush's maid on the side in order to get him hooked and create a problem? Total specualtion on my part, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

Seems like most people in his position do a criminal background check or have an agency do so before letting person work in their home...that's been something that was curious to me. If she had no record, how did she obtain all those pills or suddenly become embroiled with a drug ring while working for him?
To: Joe Hadenuf
Look, first of all someone ought to tell Rush the football story is dead.... All the red flags are there in his dialog..It don't look good, trust me....I agree. Move on. Don't reference the lib source - slate.com, on the web-site. Just let it go.
