Then they sold the tale to The National Enquirer...If they were given immunity, should they be selling the story?
Rush sending emails about drugs? Pretty stupid. So is thinking that taking a hammer to a hard drive will destroy all the evidence. (Remember, they used to want the negatives and not just the pictures.) This isn't adding up very well, IMHO.

In 2002, Wilma Cline said, a Palm Beach attorney showed up on her doorstep, gave her a check for $100,000 and made her sign a promissory note, but said the "loan" would never be collected. Four months later, in November, the attorney gave her a check for $100,000 and told her not to give Limbaugh any more pills. Fishy item #1: What if it was a *real* loan (or two), and these accusations are her way of trying to weasel out of repaying it? The fact that there's actually a promissory note bolsters that scenario.
David Cline was arrested for cocaine trafficking in 1982 in Collier County. He posted bond to get out of jail and then skipped, living as a fugitive in New York and Fort Lauderdale under different names until surrendering in 1989. He was convicted and sentenced to five years in prison. In April 2000, while he and his wife were allegedly supplying Limbaugh with drugs, Cline was arrested in Palm Beach County and charged with identity theft, having a counterfeit or stolen driver license and a false vehicle registration, possessing marijuana and resisting arrest.
Fishy item #2: Doesn't this guy sound like the sort of person who'd try to blackmail someone, and/or try a "get rich by selling a juicy story to the media" scheme?

This has STINK written all over it! The more we learn about the Clines, the less likely all of the alligations appear to be.
To: Timesink
It stinks to high heaven, as I have been saying.
To: HAL9000
...she continued to supply Limbaugh illegally, hiding the pills under his mattress so his wife wouldn't find them. I wonder if this affected his "sleep number" for the CraftMatic adjustable bed? Caertainly, if she was hiding 100s of pills a day, you'd think it would.
Plus, I'd want to know how you can hide *that* many pills from your wife? How much time does it take to ingest that many pills and wouldn't it seem more than just a little odd to bring a two-liter bottle with you to the bathroom just to take your meds? Most women would be suspicious about something like that.

If this turns out to be false, Rush will be the new owner of the National Enquirer when the lawsuits are over.

"Those names (the Clines) have never come up. Never." Eisenberg said, "There is nothing in the case about Limbaugh, about the Clines, about anything like that. There is no connection as far as I can tell."
That comment alone is speaking volumes to me. And Clines' massive rap sheet and continous documented lying about everything is speaking even LOUDER!
I agree with no pardons, this stinks to high heaven! Unbelieveable.
Thanks for posting this article.

You agree with me, because it's the ONLY possible conclusion, one can make from what we now know. :-)

<>They said they sold him 11,900 tablets over six months in 2001...
That sounds like an incredible amount -- but it would explain his erratic golf game.
I wonder how long it will be before Al Franekn publishes a new book entitled Rush Limbaugh Has a Big Fat Habit.

You know one that has me bugged about all of this that I haven't seen anyone mentioning? Just how does one play a pretty decent 18 holes of golf while being this strung out on painkillers?
