She was supposedly paid $100,000 by the Enquirer, one of David Kendall's upstanding clients.

The National Enquirer is not one of David Kendall's clients.

The law firm he works for use to be the firm that vetted their stories for libel; they don't do it anymore.

Also involved in skirmish with F. Lee Bailey over drug dealer's representation and fee that led to Bailey's disbarment:

Cover-Up of O.J. Test?

excerpt:

"Bailey stood to make about $18 million on the stock in a Canadian medical research company that international drug trafficker Claude Duboc turned over 21 months earlier when the stock was worth about $6 million.

Testifying in his own defense Friday, Bailey said federal prosecutors showed no interest in the stock and gave it to him, only later to change their minds when the stock became so valuable.

“I trusted them, a fact for which I am terribly sorry today,” Bailey said.

The government contends the stock was forfeitable assets that shouldn’t have gone to Bailey. He argues that he was given the stock as payment for his services to both Duboc and federal prosecutors who needed Bailey’s expertise to get at Duboc’s vast riches.

The hearing before Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Ellis is scheduled to conclude Monday. Ellis will issue a ruling in the case, but the Florida Supreme Court will have the final say on whether or Bailey should be disciplined.

The allegations against Bailey were brought by former colleague Ed Shohat, who became Bailey’s rival for Duboc’s business.

Bailey began representing Duboc in March 1994, about three months before joining the defense team for Simpson’s double murder trial. Bailey said he was drawn into both cases by Los Angeles attorney Shapiro and traded a $500,000 referral fee due Shapiro for the Duboc case for what Bailey was owed for his role in Simpson’s defense."

"one of David Kendall's upstanding clients. "

I knew the Enquirer was run/represented by one of Clinton's buddies, but I couldn't remember who. Thanks. This whole thing is beginning to smell like three day old mullet.

The press says "She was paid six figures." That leaves a HUGE space between $100k and $900k.

Potential dot for connection: Someone needs to follow this up. Is Wilma Cline's husband Harold Cline? If so, he's a master gardener. What a coincidence since Boies owns a lawn service under another name. Here's a master gardener weblog for your review...

The butterfly group took third place and included Tom Hewitt, Verna Freshley, Adriana Gregory and

Harold Cline.

The butterfly project was titled “Butterflies…nature’s wake-up call” and included excellent photos of common South Florida butterflies and nectar and larval plants.

Only 14 points separated third place from the fourth place Master Gardener Program project, which was titled “Let your mind bloom.” Carol Beck, Lois Ballard, Nancy Y. Cohen, and Sandra Brockington created an awesome display for recruiting future Master Gardeners.

Anything's possible in Palm Beach. FV

One might think Rush could outbid the enquirer. She must have had an axe to grind.

Have we found any other connections between Kendall and Boise other than the Gore/Clinton link?
