I could tell you all about it but I'd rather you do the research yourself.
While you're at it, see if you can discover how many dollars it could save California for every dollar spent.
Do your homework.

Bob, if there is surplus money around - it should be returned to the people. Government isn't supposed to operate in a "profit" mode.

Absolutely. A guy who can admire Milton Friedman *and* get moderates to admire him aint that bad ... and consider the sorry state of the Cali GOP prior to the recall.
Folks, hold the line - Cruz boost-a-taxes must Luze and the recall must Pass "YES" - "YES" on 54.
October 8 will be a new dawning for California.
And a sunset for the extreme liberalism running the state in the last 5 years. (I know, the lege is still mostly communist, but veto + 1/3 GOP + expose the extremists and take out some democrat seats is the ticket for 2004).

'we'? You mean McClintock is assured of victory? If you meant (R)nold... he is most certainly one of Them, and California will complete its slide into bankruptcy while getting all the blame pinned on the GOP. Way to go crew! Elect that DemocratRepublican!

The fact of the matter is that as of Wednesday of next week, one pro-gay, pro-abortion, pro-government expansion liberal will be replaced with another. So what has been accomplished? Not if I can help it. We have one weekend left. Go, McClintock! www.helptom.com

Are you astonished at I am how easily so many Republicans will accept a candidate who offers to implement the Democratic Party platform? Makes me wonder why there are political parties in the first place, when their own stated reasons for existence are ignored.

Your post didn't even mention Arnold once, but it didn't take McClintock supporters long to perform an attempted hijacking of the thread.
The only quibble I have with your post is that I think the Governor Rat won't leave Sacramento quietly, and certainly not on Tuesday. There will still be challenges, stunts, and dirty tricks well into November before Davis leaves.
It may take a mob with pitchforks and torches to convince him.

The Dems are peaking too early This may be the ray of light at the end of this dismal week.
It's gonna be a rough ride, but let's keep the faith.

So what has been accomplished.? Not much of anything that would impact Virginia.

Thank you for posting a positive essay in this Black Thursday [at least for me, since I have admired Rush since my college years].
The recycled garbage against Schwarzenegger was expected [he's groper, he's a nazi], but the Rush's drug accusation caught me by surprise. I'm still in denial.

Don't forget that the DemonRATs are already promising to challenge the election in court when they lose. Remember Florida 2000? Laurence Tribes expounding on "count every vote" while they high-fived and cheered every time they threw out a military ballot. Disgusting.
My prediction...there is much ugliness yet to come from those squirrelly, no good, worthless pieces of human debris.
