AN DIEGO (AP) -- Gubernatorial front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger acknowledged that he has "behaved badly" to women and offered an apology Thursday.

Schwarzenegger's remarks, as he kicked off a four-day bus tour of the state in the final days of the recall campaign, came after a Los Angeles Times story published Thursday in which six women accused him of sexually harassing and groping them.

For the LASlimes to use Connolly as a source for this, when his stuff has already been proved untrue, is just shameless. A new low for a paper that really had no lower to go.

Thanks so much for the kind response. I'm glad it's okay by you to support Arnie or trash McClintock. I'll keep that in mind the next time someone objects to a post. I'll tell them you gave me permission.

I just love the way you 'fire both barrels'. It is nice to see 'pure conservative' thought emit from your fingertips. Such compassion and abundance of help for your fellow man is awe inspiring. Your leadership is above reproach without doubt. I'm sure that within a few election cycles you'll be leading the new party you're moving to... good luck.

Oh Chuck Baldwin is calling for all conservative to move from the Republican Party over to the Constitution Party... You may want to fire Chuck a 'barrel or two'

--called it trash politics

More like a thrashy man entering into politics. One that has little respect for women.

Arnold on a CNN interview that was just replayed. Sometimes I'm a little too overly playful. If I have offended anyone I'm sorry.

The latest incident happened in 2000.

That's what our daughter says! You two would get along great :o)

Excellent! Perhaps she can apply her wisdom to an ongoing dilemma I've struggled with to no avail....Patriot or Braveheart? ;-)

After your rotten behavior in recent weeks, I have no sympathy or compassion for you or your other meanspirited FReeper friends. And I mean that sincerely. You've attacked Tom McClintock and his supporters with malice. You dragged McClintcok's good name and reputation threw the mud. You went way overboard and deserve anything and everything that's thrown at you.

Again thanks for the very generous words of praise. They mean so much to me coming from a true conservative like yourself. I'm sure they are coming from deep in you heart.

'tock has made his bed with the CA voters and they have responded in kind. It appears that they aren't feeling he is as entitled to the governorship as apparently he felt he was. So on Tuesday, Oct. 7 they will let him know officially it appears. 'tock's a good person and everyone has their limits.... He will eventually come to understand his.

Yes, it does. Arnold showed remorse and expressed contrition. I have yet to see psychopath Bubba admit to being a serial adulterer and rapist. Democrats don't think character matters. That's why Arnold knew he couldn't get away with it in front of a conservative crowd cause we wouldn't let him.

But it didn't disqualify Bubba from having Monica service him, now did it? The Democrats thought that was just dandy. On the other hand, clumpsy groping of half a dozen women over thirty years disqualifies you to be Governor. Perhaps Davis and Muholland and Leheinous can all tell us why giving a sitting President a blow job is no one's business while on the other hand, out of hand pranks on a movie set are every one's business? I'd love to know the reason for the discrepancy here.

Yes they did. I wouldn't be surprised if they are Democrats or married to guys with a beef against Arnold.

Jill Nelson did research for it when she worked for the Times and top management spiked it. Draw your own conclusions.

Look, you wanna be smug, sarcastic and silly, go for it. But you don't score any brownie points or improve your standing with me at all. Someday you may come to grips and alter your tactics and your boring rhetoric. We all look forward to that day. LOL

Brownie points with you....... don't flatter yourself but I know you like to anyway. I'm just expression my thanks for all you kind and gracious remarks. They are a hallmark of a true conservtive like you claim to be. Everyone should be so outstanding in representing their beliefs and political ideology... I'm sure you convert many each day. Again thanks.

Sorry that's Jill Stewart. She was a political journalist for the Times who did that research on Gray Davis the paper never ran. Guess what the grounds were.

You people need to find a more suitable website. This is a conservative website and calling conservatives nutcases around here, is both inappropriate and outrageous. And you know it too.

If the shoe fits.
