I could care less about ESPN. I already boycott CBS, NBC, ABC, MTV, VH1, and CNN (and told them that when Neilsen sent me a survey). I could care less about watching most sports. I would rather go play them instead of watching. If a business is broadcasting a football or hockey game (the only ones I watch) I will look at them, but I have too many other things to do to watch sports much anyways.
All watching TV (especially the news) does is raise my blood pressure and I want to live past 35... At this rate, I won't make it till 31... and I'm 30 now.
The Neo-Libs (read National Socialists) want to do everything they can to detroy anyone critical of their insane beliefs. Already there is a report on Drudge about a supposed drug addiction by Rush. They, the Libs, have this Wilson thing out (another lie) and now the Rush "incident" (all he did was tell the truth). They are trying to bury the Kuwait WMD sting operation.
If the Libs really want to see racists and bigots, all they need to do is look in a mirror.

You can bet your a$$ it was ABC . . . see Disney . . . who needed a backbone. It's okay to celebrate gay-ness at Disneyland but it's not okay to be a conservative.

Unfortunately, ESPN is the only place we can catch the MBL playoffs. Maybe I'll boycott them after the playoffs, except for Sunday night NFL games. Oh, I already do that! There are so few programs on ESPN worthwhile that you are promoting a minimal cause.

Boycott ESPN? You are kidding right?
Rush said a stupid thing for no reason so now we boycott ESPN?
I'll pass...

Hey I love a good boycot of anything tainted by liberal B.S.- but I think this time I ahve to agree that Rush, whom I do not listen to often, made a mistake in his remarks
Football should be exemt of politics. He just made a mistake, but he really should not have said what he did, true or not .
He brought the muck of politcs to ESPN, and I am sure even if they love him they would rather stay out of it. Everyone knows he is a hot potato , and ESPN most likely had some type of agreement with him in case anything were to happen like this. I don't ever watch ESPN, but they are a business and I am sure they just don't want to get involved one way or the other.
I agree with your motives that we ahve to fight the liberals and the outrageous media bias we are seeing this week, but I don't think this is a good fight.

Why not boycott the NFL as well?

Do you even watch ESPN in the first place? God, you keyboard ideologues who aren't even sports fans are making me nuts.

Goodbye ESPN! I did watch you daily, but now you are history.
Actually, I don't need bread and circuses any more. I think I grew up a bit.
America is much like ancient Rome. We have non-stop circuses and go from one sports season to another. We grow enormous numbers of fat male couch spuds while we are at it. One big difference from the Romans: their gummint leaders would throw free bread to the spectators. Ours taxes the hot dogs and beer sold to the sportssheeple.

What disturbs me, is that Rush is always saying that one should stand up and fight in the face of this kind of thing. There was nothing wrong with what he said, because it was the truth.
He, corectly, lambastes Bush, the administration and the republican house and senate all the time for not fighting the democrat slurs, yet he did not. I've been a RL listener from the beginning, and for me, this is a real credibility buster. He sure rolled over quickly.

I only watched to see RUSH. Now that I know just how wimpy the other 4 guys are I'd rather watch anything but.

There were many black callers to Jim Vicevich's radio show this morning (WTIC 1080 AM - Hartford, CT). Every caller I heard was not offended at all with Rush's comments on ESPN.

Look dude, the MLB playoffs are on, and ESPN is carrying them. I don't care if they came out and supported Howard Dean, I'm watching them. Witnessing the Red Sox go into the tank yet again is worth it.
