Please pray for a 7 yr old with Leukemia

I would like to ask for prayer for Jacquelyn. She's 7 yrs old and was diagnosed with luekemia in late June. The prognosis isn't that great, the doctors give her no more than a 50/50 chance to survive. She has been taking chemotherapy treatments every other week and has been a trooper and so brave.

She is supposed to be having another treatment this week but she can't because she is too sick. She has a blood fungus and some kind of infection and she's in extreme pain. They have her on morphine. I'm just so concerned about her. She's such a beautiful little girl, so full of life and personality and I know she's in God's hands but we all love her so much we want her here with us.

My daughter-in-law said that she teared up in front of her the other and Jacquelyn hugged her and told her don't worry I'll be okay. Saturday, they let my grandchildren see her and they read her a book but she's been too sick most of the time to have any visitors except her parents.

I ask everyone I see to pray for her and I know how faithful so many of you are and I'd like you to add your prayers.

I wish I had a picture of her, you'd all fall in love with her immediately.

Thanks for the update. Glad they've been able to treat Jacqueline for the intestinal problem and that she appears to be able to rest better. More prayers going up for her and her friends and family. God bless all of you.

God loves the little children so much more than we are capable of loving, that we cannot even comprehend it. From all that love, the answer will come.

You're right. Amen, and praise God always.

I know what you mean. A few years ago my nephew's best friend had the 'flu'. He was sick for about a week and then he developed a high fever, he was sweating so he told his father he was going to the porch to cool off and he died a few minutes later. He had the same leukemia Jacquelyn has but they didn't diagnose it until after he died. Then a close friend, the valedictorian of his class, died in a car accident the first week of college. I don't pretend to know the big plan and that is why I have to trust in God because without Him, nothing makes sense.

They will have to feed her intravenously for 14 days.

God bless this little child. It is so hard to understand. All I know is that God loves her and cares for her and we join our faith together to pray for a miracle. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Tiki,

Thanks for the continued updates. Jacquelyn is being prayed for again and again.

Lord, you tell us in Psalm 139 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Grant this little one rest, and healing of this inflammation, and strengthen her body to fight off the leukemia and to overcome it. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

My first prayer is that whatever answer God gives that He will give all those involved the strength and the faith to understand and accept but I really want a downright, bona fide miracle and I believe God can do it.

Bttt...

Sending Prayers of healing and comfort for little Jacquelyn.

"I believe God can do it."

He Can. If it is "His Will" He will. I pray it will be, and I ask it in the name of His son Jesus Christ.

Little Jacquelyn has been through so much, and her family has too. Tonight I pray for peace, comfort and rest.

One day at a time.. sweet Jesus.

That was several years ago. Her husband remarried and stays away from the family. I suppose he thinks it is better for the child, but my cousin would have surely wanted her baby to know her grandparents. The grandparents are heartbroken. But life goes on. Thanks for your good wishes.

Jesus Christ died for our sins and for our sicknesses, diseases, and sorrows. The Word affirms this. God has the power and the desire to heal His children. May His healing hand restore little Jacquelyn.
