I'm praying that God in His loving mercy will heal Jacquelyn and that He wraps His arms of comfort around her family during this most stressful time.

Dear Angels, please blow your sweet breath into her and make her blood strong!

Jacquelyn finally has a diagnosis for her current troubles. She has an inflammation where the small and large intestines meet. They are treating her with IV anti-inflammatories and she's off morphine but on another pain medication. They will have to feed her intravenously for 14 days. Her mother said she is finally sleeping which she hadn't done much of in the last 10 days. She is taking shallow breaths (I think because of the extreme pain) and they are encouraging her to breath deeply.
She still needs lots of prayers to get over this hump and get healthy enough to start chemo again. My first prayer is that whatever answer God gives that He will give all those involved the strength and the faith to understand and accept but I really want a downright, bona fide miracle and I believe God can do it.

Continued prayers for Jacquelyn. I would ask the same... that whatever God's will be, he gives the strength needed for acceptance and belief in his wisdom. More than that, I pray that Jacquelyn get over this hard time and be able to enjoy her life.
My cousin learned she had leukemia while she was pregnant with her first child. She was given the option of aborting the child and undergoing chemotherapy immediately, or going through with the pregnancy and undergoing chemotherapy afterward. She chose to wait. Her baby was born and was fine. My cousin was given a bone marrow transplant and developed a severe infection and died. She was so young and it was very sad for the entire family and friends. Sometimes it is difficult to reconcile those things that happen in our lives. I always believe there is a good reason for everything that happens. It makes it easier to accept some of the things that seem so unfair. I hope little Jacquelyn is given the opportunity to put all of this behind her and go on with a meaningful and comfortable life. May God keep her safe and give her strength. May he grant strength to all who love her and care for her.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the wisdom You have given to Jacquelyn's doctors and that the treatment for inflammation is giving her some relief. I pray that this will be successful ... that she will gather strength again ... take from her the pain and cause her breathing to be full and strong. Touch her, I pray, with the full might of Your healing hand that she may rejoice in the miracle of healing and in the fullness of days ... in the name of Jesus, I pray ... Amen

I was actually kind of glad to hear of this diagnosis, it should be cleared up with antibiotics. At least it wasn't the leukemia, other than the low white cell count leading to infections.
I had 12 inches of small intestine [illium] removed in emergency surgery and was kept sedated and with feeding tube for a week till it healed.
I continue to pray for her recovery.

She is taking shallow breaths (I think because of the extreme pain) I had an abdominal problem years ago and it was the worst pain I've ever been in. It hurt so bad to breath, that I had to lay there in the hospital bed, really still, and try to take the shortest breaths possible. If she's doing shallow breathing, she may be in real bad pain. And she's a 7 seven year-old in the middle of chemo.
Dear God, please ease Jacquelyn's pain, and heal her inflamations. Thy Will be done, and can we beseach You for her complete healing. In Jesus' Name, amen.

This thread is breaking my heart.
I will pray for her again. And again. I'm not very good at it but I promise you I will.
To: tiki
It's good to hear that her current problem has been diagnosed and is being treated, and that she is sleeping.
Let's all just concentrate upon believing with all our might that the miracle for Jacquelyn, for which we are praying and that God can easily deliver, will be granted.
God loves the little children so much more than we are capable of loving, that we cannot even comprehend it. From all that love, the answer will come.
To: tiki
God bless this brave little girl ad keep her always.
To: tiki
Prayers for the little girl, that her pain will be diminished, that the recovery will be complete and soon you will be rejoicing at the answered prayers.
