LANSING -- Nearly two dozen women from the Middle East are accused of defrauding Medicaid to cover the costs of having a baby in the United States, the state attorney general's office said Wednesday.
Attorney General Mike Cox said 23 women flew to the Detroit area specifically to deliver their babies and get emergency Medicaid benefits to pay for it. Within a few months of having their children, the women returned to their native countries, Cox said.

"The women are from Lebanon, Syria and Yemen"
And thousands of Mexican women have done exactly the same thing, about 3 Billion pesos worth in Mexifornia.
Does Bush care...No, does Tom Ridge and Homeland Security care...NO.

How do you like paying for future jihadis (and they get automatic U.S. citizenship too!)
Such a deal.
FRmail me to be added or removed from this pro-Israel ping list.

Nice to know we have a revolving door for an immigration policy.

My son lives in Moscow and is married to an Israeli (of Russian and French parentage). When his daughters were born, he had to go to the U.S. Consulate in Israel to claim U.S. citizenship for them.
By law a parent who is a U.S. citizen can claim citizenship for his children who are born abroad. However, the State Department refused to accept my son's Michigan birth certificate, passport, social security card or driver's license as proof of citizenship, claiming that "these documents are easily forged."
They were finally satisfied after I faxed them my son's immunization records and his bar mitzvah invitation.
I'm not making this up.

Does Bush care...No, does Tom Ridge and Homeland Security care...NO. More importantly, less than three or four politicians care, period. We're screwed. Here comes Communism and destitude! Or, will enough people understand the game and understand the measures necessary? I doubt it. I'll enjoy life until I get to march into the Gulag.

This is only because it happened in Michigan. In Californicate, it isn't even a blip on the radar screen.

Most of Canada goes to Detroit to have babies also. Don't know if they use Medicaid or not.

This doesn't make sense. Wouldn't the plane ticket cost much more than the delivery in a hospital back home?

Not only are the kids automatically citizens, but then their parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins can come in to keep the family "united." Thanks, Ted Kennedy.

There's a poll at www.cnn.com/lou that you might want to take part in. The question is: Should illegal aliens have the same rights as US citizens? So far the no's have it at 87%. Interesting, isn't it that the politicians are listening to 13%? My body is so decrepit that I can't buy insurance...but do you think I can get medicare?? NO WAY.

In this area, Americans routinely go without needed medical care --- if an American owns a modest home, that home is considered an asset at the county hospital --- and they'll slap a lien on it ---- but a wealthy foreigner can actually obtain free health care because their assets ---- even mansions in Mexico cannot be seized.
Emergency Medicaid is one of the biggest rip-offs going on and it should be immediately stopped.
