Self-described "independent" leftist Arianna Huffington has finally shown her true colors: She's just part of Gray Davis's Democrat hate machine.
Although Arnold Schwarzenegger is running as a Republican, not an independent, Huffington made this bizarre statement last night as she ended her unpopular campaign for governor of California: "The problem is that Arnold is running a campaign pretending to be an independent ... when, in fact, he is a Bush Republican."
Strange words for someone who had just proved herself a Davis Democrat by opposing the election she tried to compete in.
"This is about preventing a Republican hijacking of the state," the mansion-dwelling would-be "environmentalist" whined. Of course she wouldn't have considered it a hijacking had the voters supported her.
Although the United States is a constitutional republic, leftists are always falsely claiming it is a "democracy." But they sure don't like the democracy that California's Constitution grants to the voters.
Even L.A. Times Has Bad News for Davis
Sorry, Arianna and Gray: Even the new poll by the pro-Democrat Los Angeles Times, which has a history of running leftward-skewed surveys, shows the recall succeeding 56 percent to 42 percent.
Schwarzenegger had support from 40 percent of likely voters. Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante had 32 percent, and Republican state Sen. Tom McClintock had 15 percent. Huffington's support plunged from 3 percent on Sept. 12 to less than 0.5 percent.

Arianna is sounding more and more like she had a crush on Arnold but he rejected her. Bagging the homosexual multimillionaire clearly inflated her sense of self-worth. She needs to lower her standards; maybe she should go after one of the lesser Baldwin brothers or something.

Furthermore, if "experience in governing" was a requirement to be governor, why was she in the race to begin with???

Why is this woman given any play at all. She's a veritable dolt, her voice is grating and her accent makes understanding her a chore.
She is the possibly the least qualified person to be on television and that includes the universe of deaf mutes. And yet I see her disagreeable mug on TV farily often and encounter her grade school quality columns online frequently.
Does she have compromising photos of everyone connected to the mass media?
