Jeez, it seems that no one can make a television show or movie about politics without someone on the left or the right getting their feathers ruffled about how they are being 'persecuted' or 'mistreated'. If someone is fearfull or gullible enough to have their political viewpoints influenced by a hollywood screenwriter then I feel sorry for them. In my opinion this is a non-issue due to the fact that 'Threat Matrix' is going-up against 'Friends' and 'Survivor' during that Thursday Night time slot, so nobody is watching it anyway.

There is no way I would watch either Friends or Survivor. Threat Matrix is fairly good. If it was not on, I would watch none of the major networks at that time.

I wouldn't say that. I watch it, and I know of a few political junkies who like seeing a story about the inner workings of the government.
Not everyone is a fan of mindless pap. Some people actually like a program that makes them think - rare as it is.

They really did put it in a Death Slot, didn't they? Too bad. It's a pretty good show -- and it has Kelly Rutherford in it, which gives it ten bonus points in my book.
