SPOCK SELLS SHOTS TO SHATNER
"Star Trek" actor Leonard Nemoy has a willing customer to help his new career as a sexy photographer -- former co-star William Shatner.
Nimoy, who played oddball Vulcan Dr. Spock on the cult show, has an alternate career as a photographer, specializing in erotica and female nudes.
And Shatner, best known as Captain James T. Kirk, has proved a fan of his efforts.
Nimoy says, "Bill Shatner bought some of my work at a recent gallery show.
"He paid full price for it. I don't give discounts!"
Nimoy's photography has always been a passion -- he adds, "I've been obsessed with photography since the age of 13. At one point in 'Star Trek' I was going to stop acting and enroll in photography college."
And his new book of nude shots, entitled "Shekhina," is about more than just bodies.
He continues, "Like many artists before me, I'm interested in the female figure. I find it more interesting to work with. This work is my quest for insight and the exploration of my own spirituality."
