The bigger question is: "Will any of the politicians who were elected as temporary servants of the people ever consider the Constitution when drafting legislation?" The evidence so far, is "No!"
Big money and wealthy big interests dominate the political landscape; it has always been so. That's why I say that in order to have a voice in the political arena, one needs to join with like-minded people who are willing to put up enough money to buy the votes of the corrupt bastards. Cynical? Sure, but thats the reality of politics. Some say that "politics is the art of the possible"; I say that "politics is the art of criminality." Once it is understood that ALL politicians are susceptible to bribery, then we can get on with the business at hand.
