STINK AND F I L T H????????? Where do you get off!

I am a non-smoker. I am not overly offended by smoke, but I would not buy a used car owned by a smoker, nor a house owned by a smoker. No offense intended. Really. My parents both smoked. I dreaded the sound of the "flick of the bic" when they awoke in the morning, knowing I would have to breathe that stuff as long as I was in the house that day. Anyway, most smokers DO seem not to care all that much for the smoke, at least it seems that way from watching smokers' cars, with windows cracked, even in the rain and the winter cold. I would think you guys would want to keep as much of that precious (and expensive) smoke in the car as possible. But I confess that the smoking allure has never attracted me (except for my perverted habit of engrossing watching, from a distance, attractive female smokers as they smoke.... I do have ONE vice.....)

Your one "vice" and your reasoned statements say much about you.

As to having a window cracked open in the car, I always do it, regardless of wether I am smoking or not or even when in the car of a non-smoker when I wouldn't be smoking anyway. It's a thing with me, and always has been - I can not be in an enclosed vehicle.

For that matter I always have at least one window open in my house at all times -summer or winter. But it's got nothing to do with smoking, because even in the homes of non-smokers if there is no outside air coming in I get a strange feeling, maybe it is a bit of claustrophia or something, but I need the outside air.

No offense taken, but I do have a question for you if you'd be so kind: Your reaction to your parents smoking is the exact opposite of mine and I wonder, were you a sickly child? (no offense intended) Did you have a happy childhood overall?
