Then I presume you are sympathetic to the families of the Japanese civilians killed at Hiroshima and Nagasaki who want an appology from America, think the South owes an appology to all of the Union POWs who died in the South, and think that whites owe blacks reparations for slavery, right? Or can we all move into the 21st Century and realize that the people who were wronged more than 100 years ago, and those who wronged them, are no longer alive to give or receive and appology.

Approximately 4000 Confederate prisoners died at Point Lookout, not 15,000.

There is no credible evidence that any were tortured or willingly murdered by design. The death rate was high in part because of the unexpectedly large number of prisoners who came through that camp (it was originally intended to house about 10,000 but because of a string of Union victories, the prisoner population ballooned to between 12,000-20,000. The facility was not prepared for this and disease was rampant which resulted in a very high mortality rate.

How can anybody take you seriously if you can't even get a simple set of facts straight ?

Yep. Point Lookout, the Death Camp on a Sand spit. A friend and I went down there years ago and found the area fenced off with a lighthouse or some such. No Admittance. There will never be any attempt to excavate the site, not that much would be left after years of brackish water and erosion.

Survivor's accounts made the place far worse than Andersonville, especially given the Yankees' resources. All within sight of Westmoreland, Virginia, just 9 miles away.
